I really liked trying Olay's Ultimate Sensitive collodial oatmeal skin protectant moisturizer. It went on smooth and creamy. It left my face feeling soft and refreshed. I feel like this product is excellent for anyone with sensitive skin. It will help if your skin is irritated, dry or itchy. It also left my complexion brighter after trying it for a week. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My skin gets extremely dry during winter so I was thrilled to be able to try Olay ultimate sensitive moisturizer with colloidal oatmeal. I've had good luck with products containing the colloidal oatmeal but not on my face, I've yet to discover a good moisturizer for my dry, irritated facial skin in winter. Until now! I can't say enough good things about this product. They texture and application are perfect which is something I've ever struggled with with other products. Alot of them are don't absorb well or feel greasy after application, this product absorbant fast and has no greasy feel at all, leaves skin looking and feeling soft. It's fragrances free and stands by that claim, it smells like nothing, not even that oatmeals smell I hate with products containing it. I definitely recommend this to anyone with very dry or sensitive skin, it is hands down the best facial moisturizer in this category and I will definitely be a repeat buyer.

I tried the Olay Colloidal Oatmeal Moisturizer for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I am a loyal customer for the Olay skincare line. I enjoy their products very much overall and have seen some improvements with their other Moisturizers. However I was disappointed in this specific one. It feels very heavy and thick on the skin surface. I did not like the instructions of use for this product. It reads as if it is for sun damage, bug bits or damage to the skin's surface, not as if it is a daily use facial moisturizer. I did like the fact that it is designed for sensitive skin and that it includes colloidal oatmeal which is very calming ingredient for "flare" ups. However it did not help to combat my red blotchy skin appearance or provide any soothing effect to my face texture. The biggest upside is that the product is fragrance free which is preferred for me with face care. I think this product would be beneficial to any irritations or soothing skin surface from bites, or burns but not as an everyday facial moisturizer. Out of the Olay line, I probably would not recommend this product to others.

I placed some on my dry elbows and they worked really well and I will continue using them this winter. They feel very nice on my skin. OLAY Ultimate Sensitive Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant Moisturizer was a fast acting absorbent product. I liked the fact that it was fragrant free. It was easy to apply and left my skin soft with no greasy feel. It helped with patches of dryness and did not leave my skin irritated, red, or itchy. It was fast acting and easy to apply. The size of this Olay product would probably last for several weeks. I found this to be another five star Olay product.

After washing my face, I applied Olay Ultimate Sensitive Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant Moisturizer. It is definitely fragrance free, non-greasy, caused no irritation, and was easy to apply smoothly and evenly. I tried it both in the morning and at night as a base. It claims to temporally protect and help relieve minor skin irritation and itching that is due to: rashes, eczema, poison ivy, oak, or sumac, or insect bites. I certainly found my skin less itchy/irritated. I would suggest giving it a try.

I will admit, I started using this product before actually reading the directions for use that accompanied it. I was applying it to my face as part of my nightly skincare routine, and I was enjoying it. Since it was developed for sensitive skin, it makes sense that this is an unscented product. It has a nice, soothing texture that isn't too rich or heavy, so it isn't overly occlusive for my partly oily/combination skin. It's formulated with colloidal oatmeal and it leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated. So when I finally read the directions for use, I was kind of surprised to discover the following: "Uses: Temporarily protects and helps relieve minor skin irritations and itching due to •rashes •eczema •poison ivy, oak, or sumac •insect bites". WOAH! So this is more of an 'as needed' product? And not necessarily just for my face? Is it better suited for my first aid kit than my bathroom vanity? Wow. I mean, that's okay, of course, but I feel like Olay ought to make that distinction clearer, and perhaps a bit more obvious and intuitive. They could make a start in that direction by not packaging it in the same shape and style of jar that all their facial skincare products come in. But, unfortunately, I did a little more research, and I found some depressing news. While Olay has 'officially' called for an end to animal testing in cosmetics and skincare products, they still willingly and knowingly sell their products in countries where cruel tests are required by law. Therefore, Olay products are NOT cruelty-free. They are tested on immobilized and terrified cats, rats, and rabbits. Not only is that horribly barbaric and completely unnecessary, it's ridiculously hypocritical, too. Olay obviously cares more about their own profits than the pain and suffering of innocent animals. I mean, what kind of monster deliberately hurts CATS?? Sorry, Olay, but for a beauty company, that stuff's just ugly.

It has a nice smooth texture that absorbs quickly and is fragrance free. I like that it has colloidal oatmeal in it to help with minor skin irritations and itchiness. I have always loved Olay products and this one did not disappoint. I will be buying more when this jar is gone.
