Had to replace the OEM Hankook Ventus all season tires at 28k miles. They didn't last long. The major snowfall of the season they had me questioning my Explorer. It's 4WD and even in the snow mode, traction wasn't there. Braking was horrible, ABS was kicking in all the time. Felt like I was back to driving my Town Car, and even that dealt with the snow better. The Ford dealer agreed these tires were about done. Weeks later the dealer hooked me up with these tires. No more flat spots. The ride improved, quieter too. Yes I know new tires make a difference. But the old tires weren't that old. The next snowfall was a big improvement. Traction was back, braking was confident. 1,000 miles with these tires and so far I'm sold this was a smart purchase. 6 inches of unplowed roads this morning and I felt much more confident. Driving smart of course. Cannot say how long these will last but my precious experience of these tires on a ‘99 Tahoe was favorable too. Good tires for this vehicle.

I purchased our Defenders for our 2015 F-250 Super Duty before leaving for our 2000 mile trip. The tires are noticeable quieter and has a better ride quality than the tires (non Michelin) that I replaced. So far I'm very pleased with them. I have never had a problem with any Michelin tire I've purchased.

Have my Defenders now for just about 3000 miles on a 4Runner. Not the off-road tire, no - but for 99% of my travels, these tires are great. Smooth ride and they feel sure planted. No snow yet .... Rain driving, I didn't feel any risk or anything. They seem to react better when it was wet out. Very Happy with my purchase.

I have 30k on these tires and they wore abnormally down the middle, despite keeping proper air pressure and rotating them. The original LTX M/S2 tires were the best tire I ever owned and what made me a Michelin customer. These new Defenders may look like the old design, but are clearly inferior.

Michelin Defender Tires They make great affordable tires, and safety is a must on the mountain in the wintertime. Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

I have had many sets of Michelin tires. (Probably close to 8.) Only 2 bad tires they replaced without issue. I have these tires on my wife's Sequoia and my mother's 4 runner. Excellent tires on them. I bought these for my 2020 F250. These are HORRIBLE at throwing rocks! The grooves in the center of the tire (there's 5 of them if I recall) love to grab rocks from gravel driveway/roads and kick them up on my truck. These would hold rocks even at high speed and eject them when doing 80 mph on freeway. I have no idea why those grooves need to be so wide on a highway tire??

2018 Frontier PRo-4x. Replaced OEM tires with these since i am not a true off roader, and mainly on highway. I picked up 2mpg+ with these. Rolling resistance is awesome, stopping ,and more importantly cornering is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY better. Great road Manners. Slightly stiffer than the softwall off road tires i had. But these work just nice. not to mention, they can go to 80psi???? WOW... NOT that iw ould do that. My first set was bad, the dealer did a warranty claim, and as soon as i rolled out i knew right away how great these were. Makes the truck more of a nice commuter truck now, with the ability to "trucK" when needed. I really do enjoy these, and the improved gas mileage is with the AC on all the time soo, so perhaps 3mpg or so improvement.... This replacement set used way less weights, and again these tires really do look so nice. Gives the truck an upscale "gentlemans" look if you get my point. GREAT road manners, it's still a truck, but GREAT road manner improvements.

Bought these about a week ago. They replaced my OEM Michelin cross terrian which are no longer made. These LTX tires are awesome nice quiet ride. Super smooth, ust an amazing difference. Absolutely love them so far. Already have been in rain and snow and handled great. Great Purchase!!!

I absolutely love these tires and honestly, I wouldn't put anything else on my vehicle. The lasts set I purchased lasted 9 years! No, o don't drive a lot, but I live in Charleston, SC, and the summer sun and sea breeze can wreck a good thing fast. These tires hold up!!! They have excellent traction and they are just glide down the road.

I have this tire on a 2018 Toyota Highlander Hybrid XLE Tire is very comfortable and quiet. I like the wet and dry performance of this tire even when pushed hard. It can easily handle the 306hp the highlander has to offer during hard acceleration, braking and turning.
