I really like all the ingredients in this. The taste isn't bad at all, but it's definitely different. It kind of tastes like a spaghetti sauce or some kind of pasta sauce. It's very thin like a pasta sauce, but Im not tasting a bbq flavor. I would recommend giving it a try to see If you would like it. I noticed a few reviews mentioned the taste of ketchup. I don't really taste the flavor ketchup, but definitely understand why it may taste like it since the main ingredient is tomato paste.

I really love this sauce so much. I recommended it to my sister. The sauce taste so good with fried chicken or other dishes. If you're trying to look for a healthier alternative to barbecue sauce, I think this sauce is it! It's more ketchup based. I love to understand the ingredients when I read the list.

I like the taste of this YoMama's BBQ sauce because it can also pass for a ketchup. It is great on fried/baked potato wedges (which I love). No after taste of some chemical or some overloaded unknown spice! It is delicious. It is sweetened with monk fruit just right. I will purchase again - no hesitation. Excellent in meatball mixture or meatloaf topping. I cooked meatballs in this cause. I recommend.

It's definitely NOT the conventional BBQ sauce that you're accustomed too, BUT absolutely DELICIOUS!! It's not thickened at all, and it's not overly (almost bland) salty like most BBQ sauces, nor is it super sweet. It's an excellent base for cooking with, and I even used it as a salad dressing. Will be buying again, for sure!!!

My husband is addicted to Yo Mama's BBQ sauce. I use it for sloppy joes, meatloaf and many other entrees. Thanks Yo Mama!!!

This sauce has a basic flavor and is probably has a bit too much tomato flavor. I would probably mix in some Dan-Os spicy or chipotle in to give it more of a kick. I see some complaints on here, what did you expect? No sugar or other crap ingredients. If you want that there is an entire aisle with sugar filled sauces and you can't compare the two.

I wish I read the reviews before purchasing. As others have stated, this is very tomato forward and like ketchup. I checked the label multiple times after tasting to see if I got the wrong thing. It did not work for the barbecue recipe I intended to use it for. I will use the rest of the bottle as ketchup.

Vinegar and catsup - horrible taste!!

$4.00 for tomatoe sauce. This is the worse BB sauce I have ever tasted. I might as well purchased tomatoe sauce. Do not recommend.

A real disappointment. Sauce is thin and has almost no flavor; can't taste any spices. Was not worth waiting for it to be shipped. Someone with a sensitive stomach may find good, but as for me, my mama's bbq sauce is far superior to Yo Mama's. Won't buy any of their products now.
