Some of the lids come with air vents so it can vent of the heat during microwaving. The lids are red that make them easy to find. The lids are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. I would definitely buy again.

The lids snap on tight and the plastic is strong and sturdy. The best thing about this set is that the lids each have vents. My husband often has to heat his food up in the work microwave and the vented lids help to heat us his food without making a mess. Very helpful feature!
