I love purchasing these digital gift cards before booking an Airbnb to save some money. It usually takes me about an hour to receive the gift card in my email after making this purchase. So, keep that in mind if you are in a rush to book an Airbnb because it does take some time for this to be delivered to your inbox. Otherwise, no complaints and it's a great purchase!

Bought these gift cards to get a little bit of money off of my vacation through the Airbnb app. The host waited until a few weeks before my vacation and canceled because they said they meant to charge more money. I paid in full when I booked. Their property management company offered to find a place directly since it was so last minute and they had many properties. Instead, I was forced to go through the Airbnb app because of the use of the gift card. I had to pay close to $300 more to find a place for my vacation through Airbnb, given the picked over inventory. Airbnb would not reimburse me in cash or credit outside of the app.
