I'd like to think of myself as a coffee aficionado, and to say this is a most excellent dark roast, would be an understatement. It's smooth, flavorful; not even a tiny bit bitter. It percolates beautifully, and it smells absolutely heavenly. I'm writing this review because I'm back to buy more!

Best dark coffee

This coffee smells and tastes incredible! I used it to make cold brew at home and it is incredible. The flavor is very full and strong like I like. I love that it comes in whole beans so when I grind it the coffee is fresher. And of course the house smells amazing when I do!

I am a home roaster and have done some bad roasts. This coffee is definitely over roasted. One can quickly tell that by the gloss on the beans. Our family from Honduras agree on this. Normally, I use 50 grams of coffee for a 12 cup (60 ounce) pot of coffee. I had to reduce it to 40 grams to have a reasonable cup of coffee.
