Good buy

Product had molded. Took some small off top of both trays of mushrooms the day that I picked up my curb pivkup. Did not see the mold until next day and did not know that my gastric distress after eating those on the date of pickup. I looked up mushrooms and mold. So I trashed the balance of both trays. Not planning to purchase the product again.

Spoiled too quickly

Have noticed a continuing decrease in quality of these mushrooms from their last vendor (Monterey was the old one, if memory serves me). New vendor uses plastic packaging instead of paper, and the ones I bought this past weekend were all slimy inside. Mushrooms also aren't as large as the Monterey. Waltons may have increased profits, but at expense of consumer.

We always buy these portobellas at Sam's and have been very pleased until the last month or so. The mushrooms are dirty, mold easily and are NOT the quality that we're used to. The labeling has changed, so if this is a new supplier, it is VERY disappointing. We will need to consider buying from other sources, unfortunately.
