Worst tires ever

I brought these tires for 2 reasons: 80K warranty, and they are supposed to be quiet. I mean, "quiet is in the name"! Don't yet know about tread life, but I can say these are the absolute nosiest tires I have ever had. How noisy? Like being in a pickup truck with knobby tires noisy. And the noise starts at 30 MPH and gets worse as speeds increase. There is also a lot of vibration. I had the installer re-balance the tires. I had them rotated. I made sure the tires were correctly mounted with the "outside" sidewall on the outside. I played with different air pressures. I tried driving on different road surfaces. Nothing helps. i can only surmise there is a defect in manufacturing, perhaps out of round, broken belts inside, something. I could not be more disappointed in these.

Avoid these tires at all cost

I'll never buy Bridgestone tires or a vehicle with the on it ever again, and caution anyone I know against it. These tires are rated at least for 50k and at 36k with regular maintenance and rotate @ each 5k and alignment checked and adjusted once as well during as needed. Tires started cupping to the point they had to be replaced. OE tires dealership wont warranty and told me 15-20k these have to be replaced usually. Never again Bridgestone.

Turanza Quiettrack

I thought I had "decent" tires on my car, until ... enter the Bridgestone Turanza. Just WOW! What a world of difference. A quiet and smooth comfortable ride. Amazing performance on dry and wet pavements. The GRIP and performance on these tires are unbelievable, especially on wet pavement. I've never felt safer with any other tire. Am never going back to other tire brands. Am sticking with Bridgestone.

Wonderful

I was a bit concerned when I went to pick up my car. I did not realize these were lower profile tires. I was wrong though! These tires are so quiet. 10/10. It's truly insane how the tire brand and tire type can change the road sound and ride of the vehicle. The vehicle feels like it handles the road much better as well. They also came with a nice warranty and life expectancy, and a rebate!!

Quiet and comfortable but not as durable as advertised

I had 4 Quiettrack installed on my minivan in 2019 right after it was released. I have diligently rotate and balance my tires every 5000 miles as recommended, but right now, after 18000 miles of driving on it, all 4 tires had left with 3/32 of tread life left! The minivan is used for commuting and it is not even used for road trips due to Covid 19. Recommended replacement of tires are 4/32 with the state law limiting that tires tread life to be 2/32. That is like way short of the 80,000 miles warranty that this set of tires had advertised. This is worse than the Potenza tires that I had for my Nissan Fairlady 370z which had more aggressive tread pattern! This is really disappointing!

Great tire for daily driver

So on my son's ole '05 Buick Lacrosse HS/college car the tires have been terrific. Really nice ride, pretty quiet and darn good in snow. I did notice the installer mounted two with 'inside' facing outside. Wonder if that's an issue? Would buy these again for family/daily driver.

low tread life

Purchased tires in February 2022, upon state inspection in October 2022 was told and shown by tech the tread barely passes inspection at 1mm. Drove 13k miles during that span of time, completely unacceptable for a tire rated for 80k miles. Very disappointing to say the least. Tire drove smooth but tread life is worst I've experienced.

Dry Rot

Last year I was told by a firestone tech that my tires had dry Rot, the tires were then 6 years old. I was told to make an appointment so management could look at them. I was told at the appointment that there was no dry Rot. Earlier this year same thing occured, with one exception rather than making an appointment I popped in and asked if they had time to look at them. They did and said no dry Rot. This past week same thing, a tech checking my tire pressure told me they have dry Rot. I immediately asked for others to look at them. I have 2 tires that are 2015, originals and 2 that were replaced on road hazard. The 2 that are from 2015 show dry Rot. For the first 4 years the car was driven a few times a week maybe 50 miles a week. The car was parked in a garage when not being driven. I bought these tires because of the 80k warranty. In the last 3 years the car has been driven much more and spent time outside. The tires still have plenty of thread, probably around 25k. The manager at Firestone informed me that even though there are still miles left on the warranty and I had purchased road Hazzard, the tires are not covered for dry Rot after 5 years. He made it clear by his tone and and posturing he was not open to any discussion. I will never buy tires with high mileage warranty again. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for 30 years...obviously that means nothing to them.

Excellent Tire for Ride,Noise, Performance

I've had the tires on my 2014 Prius model 3 for only about a month, but am highly impressed by their great ride comfort and very low noise. I am particularly very pleased with their excellent performance in heavy rain. Even at 65 mph in wet conditions, there is no hydroplaning in straight/normal highway conditions. Technically, they are not meant for a hybrid, because they are not low rolling resistance tires (LRR). At manufacturer psi, I immediately feel the change in ride (nice soft ride) but a sticky feel, and see lower fuel performance over multiple tank fills when compared to LRR tires. However, I deliberately chose these tires because I was tired of the constant loud road noise of my LRR tires, and wanted to see how these 'normal' higher end tires performed. I still get okay mileage for me (range of low to mid 40's mpg per trip) with mostly highway driving on a 64 mile round trip commute, but the ride is immaculate and noise is considerably less which is more of a priority to me than the high mileage of LRR. Looking at the tread, you can see the deep groves that help give the tire it's excellent wet traction. My wife has a 2014 Prius V, but I would not recommend these for the V version because it is a heavier car with the same engine as normal Prius, which means your mpg would likely go down to low-to-high 30's, which would not be acceptable for that car. Overall, an excellent tire if your priorities are nice soft quiet ride with excellent handling in normal and wet conditions. Again, mine are on a Prius, so I understand the mileage issue, but it's not a priority for me. If it were, I would need to stick with LRR tires to get the typical 50-60 mpg of a Prius.

Nice Tires

After driving on these tires for a few thousand miles now, I can attest to their quiet ride and the handling seems sure footed and if the tire gets anywhere near their 80K lifespan, I'll be happy. The one big negative, and I have read this on other reviews, is the reduction in fuel economy and with the cost of gas these days, every mile makes a difference. With my previous tires, Bridgestone Turenzas that come with the Camry, I was able t get 38-39 MPG on the highway, with the new QuietRide, I am down to 35-36 MPG after a long road trip to Georgia. We'll see how it progresses after the tires wear a little more.
