[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gillette Venus razor worked well but I really didnt like how smooth the handle is. It made it very hard to hold on to and it slipped out of my hand a few times. Thank goodness i didint cut myself.

I was excited to use this razor in hopes that it would work and honestly I did see an improvement. The razor gets close enough for a smooth shave without causing irritation!

Even so, the blade didn’t cut as close to the skin as I would have liked, and I couldn’t get the hard-to-reach razor on the top/back to work properly. I’m thinking it was my user error, but I couldn’t get a clean shave with that side. I would love this razor if it had more blades(I think it only has two from what I can see?), but it wasn’t as efficient for me as I would have liked.

The next time I used it I exfoliated before hand, which I normally skip to avoid irritation. Still a close, smooth shave. Very impressed! I need to update my skincare routine because the outcome with this product is definitely worth it.

You will have to go through a certain area multiple times to get a smooth shave. And is sharp but not too sharp to the point it will cut you. Too time consuming if you're trying to cut that time in the shower. One positive note is the packaging is beautiful, however the main point is the product. If it was to have more blades maybe it would had been a little better and cover more surface without having to go through multiple rounds.
