More extras than expected

After doing a factory reset a few times and doing a hard reset more than a dozen times I contacted the Vizio support team, and they were useless. Seems like the only tool in their toolbox to fix a problem is to have the customer do what I’ve already done multiple times. I asked to have it escalated to higher level. I guess nobody had a higher level has an answer for it either, because nobody contacted me. I’ve made three attempts so far.

Beware of Vizio! A couple of things I wish I knew before purchasing! An account is required to set up your TV. This is required of all Vizio TV’s. Ok, no problem with that but what they don’t tell you is that the account will cost you $95 for 5 years of channels I didn’t want or need. You can’t set up the TV without this account! I got with customer service and this seemed to be a regular issue they dealt with. I was told it says on the box that an account is required, true but it doesn’t tell you it will cost you $95. I was excited about the voice remote, well that was a let down also! It only works for those channels I didn’t need or want. You can’t ask it to go to ABC for instance, it doesn’t work that way. The picture is good but if I had known this prior to purchase I would not have bought it. Unfortunately I will keep it because I have finally figured out how to work it and to return it I would need to pack up this 65 inch TV and bring it back to the store. So I just hope I find something new with all these channels I paid for and didn’t want. Buyer beware, they get you with a very reasonable purchase price but get you later!

I like the tv. I've had other vizeo tv's. A couple of times the screen frozed when I changed the channel. just making sure it was a fluke occurrence.

We love our TV we purchased from Sam’s. It’s even better than what we expected. I will recommend Sam’s to anyone.
