Call it 4.5 stars. Outstanding TV in terms of picture quality and audio output (surprising good volume and clarity from the onboard speakers; no sound bar necessary). The half star penalty relates to the crummy little remote that comes with the TV. The set is loaded with popular apps that require no external streaming box, so you gotta use the included Samsung remote. To keep this review as short as possible, it's an annoying little piece of crap! I'm continuing to seek a suitable after-market replacement, something engineered for the convenience of a human user. If you already have a streaming box that provides a decent remote, use it with this set even though you don't have to; you'll save yourself a lot of swear words.

I bought a few weeks ago to replace a 2012 Samsung smart tv. Now I'm bombarded by ads. Cannot get an OTA antenna to work so after one more try, will be returning. Samsung customer service was not helpful, must be the antenna! Antenna worked on the old tv. So I have ordered a new antenna…if new tv will not receive local channels, it must be the tv.

When we started shopping and comparing options, Samsung was our top choice. We purchased three new TV's and are all Samsung, in various sizes to fit spaces, and ALL are great. With multiple streaming options and wi-fi capabilities, set-up was super easy, and learning how to use them quick and simple. GO SAMSUNG if you are in the market for new TV.
