Very stale.

Although purchased on the 22nd of February 2024, the good date was set at February 26, 2024. The bread seemed a little hard upon opening a few days ago, something unusual in my many purchases of this bread although the same thing happened with another loaf of white bread ordered prior to this current loaf. A lite white crush was observed on the tops of both loaves of white bread, which also seemed to my recollection different from other white loaves of this product. I wasn’t sure if this was natural or signs of deterioration. On this current loaf of white bread I stopped usage after spotting a bluish tint on the top of bread slices, a definite sign of mold despite the use good date of 02-26-2024. I threw out this loaf of white bread as well as the last. I’m typing this review out so Pepperidge Farms can review and examine what’s happening to the quality of their white bread.

I like this white bread for taste and texture but the width is why I don't buy this bread very often as it's to wide for my sandwiches. Sliced cheese isn't wide enough nor is the most packaged meat . Also being that I am the only one eating a sandwich made with this bread there is a lot of waste or left over. Half the sandwich isn't large enough . Wish Walmart would carry the Classic white sandwich bread as that was the right size bread and tastes great.

This is the best store-bought white bread! It’s always so fresh and isn’t too thick or thin. I haven’t found anything on the shelf that comes close to this one. I love the texture and the slightly sweet flavor. It makes an excellent (massive) sandwich. My favorite way is to toast it and top with real butter and jam. Yum!

This used to be my favorite bread. After biting into a sandwich the other day and finding a mass of weird fibers that shouldn't be there, I checked around online. Turns out what I found was a disposable hairnet. I think I've been put off of bread for a long while. I'm beyond disgusted.

I love this bread for everyday, and specifically HAVE to have only this bread for BLT sandwiches - no other white bread for toast for those. Yum! It really makes a difference in your sandwich when your bread is perfect! Other brands seem to be too flimsy when toasted and this stays nice and hearty.

This bread tasted good but we switched to Brownberry when we found out it contains datem which has been linked to heart fibrosis and adrenal overgrowth in lab animals. Brownberry doesn't have that or any other bad ingredients and tastes just as good.

the Pepperidge Farm has some great bread but I'm going to tell you what I don't really look at the labels but it sure makes my sugar high when I eat this Pepperidge Farm and I really like the very thin white now it's a little bit flimsy but it still feels good eating a sandwich with that thin bread and you're not getting all that sugar and whatnot to make your sugar go real high the Pepperidge Farms got the best Breads and they've been having those different swirl breads I had a lemon blueberry that was so good and during Christmas they usually have like a caramel swirl I like that too Peppers Farm is great always five star on everything Pepperidge Farm😍😉
