I have had Michelin on everything i have owned the last 35 years. They usually Crack on the sides before they ever wear out . They are awesome . They are so smooth it's like riding on a cloud . Just put a set on my Chevy Silverado . Simply the best highway tire available.

So far so good after approximately 3 months and 4,000 miles on our Defender 2s. The most notable improvement is a front end road noise reduction; the tires also provided admirable traction after a recent snowstorm. Some improvement in gas mileage was anticipated but that hasn't been noticed. Overall we're satisfied with our Defender 2 tires (but, hey, what new tires aren't an improvement over aged, worn tires?).

Had to buy these Defender 2 tires a few months ago because the Premier LTX D/T tires were supposedly being discontinued. Tires are adequate but not as comfortable of a ride versus the Premier LTX D/T tires. Disappointed in the Defender 2 Traction and Temperature ratings of "B", they should be at least A or better yet AA. I will only buy Michelin tires as long as they have quality tires and strive to improve tire materials and traction control; especially, in wet weather where I live. Unfortunately the YOKOHAMA YK740 GTX were rated better (A traction and A temperature) than the Defender 2 tires ; however, I do not like Yokohama tires. I have not had the Defender 2 tires long enough to rate treadwear; however, I do not expect them to last even 50,000 miles. We shall see!

I bought these tires 2 weeks ago, took a bit for me to get used to these kinds of tires but I first needed to break them in 1st but once I placed 500 miles into them the driving experience became very different in a good way, compared to my previous tires which were Kumho's. I own a Hyundai Elantra 2019 and when I 1st bought it from the dealership which was a month ago, I noticed the suspension to be a bit stiff on bumpy roads but now with these Michelin Defenders 2 tires the ride comfort changed so much that I feel way more confident in my car over bumpy roads and highway driving. These tires keep my vehicle stable on the road and my vehicle suspension feels more stronger now. Your guy's tires made me love my car even more thank you for creating such an amazing tire I definitely will shop for Michelin tires in the future especially these Defenders #2.

After purchasing the Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Lexus ES350, I have decided to get a new set for my RX350 with 245/50R20. The New Defender 2 tires have great handling performance in dry and wet weather conditions, and it also provides very quite and comfortable ride! In addition, it's great to know that the New Defender tires will last for a very long time. I like the new tires very much and very happy with the choice I made.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). I only buy Michelin tires from an authorized Michelin dealer. The Defender 2 and th Defender LTX are my goto tires. Smooth riding, quiet, traction, and durability are second to none in my book. Also, my local dealer has a lot to do with it as well. Good people, helpful, and I've been dealing with them for a long time.

hope tires hold up , had aset of these on my 2021 equinox and had 30000 miles on them and would not pass state inspection because od unusual tire wear ! had alignment done and was told alignment was ok ! contacted michelin about this and they said nothing could be done because i was second owner of car !!!!!!

Put these on my 2019 Honda Accord, 225/50/17. They Mileage actually increased by 1.5mpg, they are quiet, and ride decently. But, they have poor on center feel. The tires wander so much on the highway that it feels like the car is being blown around by wind. The tires are perfectly balanced, the car has perfect alignment, and pressures are right on 32psi. I'm guessing it is tread squirm. Regardless, it is fatiguing to drive due to the constant corrections required. The lane keep and assist feature of my car is MUCH busier trying to keep the car centered. The ride is generally smooth, especially over more rounded bumps. But on square edge, sharper bumps (like 1" high peaked cracks), there is a harsh spike transmitted to the cabin. Super weird. I'm also a little concerned about wet and snow traction in SE Michigan. Interestingly, the same tires on my wife's 17 CRV feel brilliant. We've had 6 sets of Defenders over the years, and they were always a great choice. I'm a former master mechanic, and have never considered returning tires before. I have 1 more week left on the 30 day trial period, and I'm not sure I'm going to keep them. May have to try Pirelli or Continental.

We are very pleased with the Michelin Defender 2 tires that we just purchased for our Ford Escape Titanium. This vehicle is a medium sized SUV so it is light and has turbo so it is quick to respond to changes in speed or direction. Consequently, we are concerned about the tires ability to be stable on windy highways and grip the road at higher speeds and when turning corners especially in wet weather. Since this is early spring and winter road damage has not yet been repaired, they are surprisingly smooth when going over rough roads and occasional potholes and uneven roads. They are also well priced for this level of performance.
