Family packs are the way to go for a better deal. I have a vacuum sealer and it has more than paid for itself while combining the lower price of items with the decrease in shrinkage from freezer burn.

I find MM brand chicken legs are much cleaner cut than other major brand. The skin is well cleaned and less fats. Price is normally lower too.
