The Weatherpeak tires were a very nice smooth ride and quite. Will see how they do the winter here in SD. Roy was great and seemed very honest and was able to answer all me questions, made me very comfortable. The only issues I have with Firestone is I had to drive 8 hours round trip not including the time at the shop. Looking like I will be paying cash from now on while I am living here in Mobridge, SD. We need more firestone shops a lot closer to Mobridge, SD. Also it would be nice if Firestone would work with local shops here and in smaller towns. The closest shop for me was in Rapid City, SD, so with that said I most likely will not be going to Rapid, City to firestone as it is an all day drive. Just wish the Firestone allow us to use our card for local shops like the CFNA card does with local shops here in Mobridge, SD. Other than this big issue; I am happy with my new tires.

While I loved the tires performance in the wet/dry/snow conditions, the durability of the tire leaves a LOT to be desired. I had the tires for all of about 21k miles, and already my tire shop advised that I replace them due to the treadwear on the tire rapidly going down fast. I rotated them as recommended (every 6k miles), and do not drive in any adverse road conditions, and rarely exceed 75MPH. Dry traction? Fabulous. Wet? Amazing. Snow? Fantastic. Durability? TERRIBLE. Especially considering I spent 200/tire, I expected the tires to at least last 40k miles, if not more -- given that these are reputed by Bridgestone to be 75k mile treadwear tires. Add that it is nearly impossible in my area to find a like replacement (almost all the shops didn't have this tire in stock), I went and did a set of Michelin Cross Climate as the replacement for these. Unfortunate, as these are really good performing tires when they aren't wearing out quickly.

These tires have rock solid traction in all weather conditions. In rain has never hydroplaned once. Here in Portland, Oregon on Feb 22, 2023 we had 10 inches of snow. Couldn't believe how many stuck cars I drove by and I was driving a FWD vehicle. Saw Tesla's, a Jeep and even Subaru's stuck in the snow and I drove right past them! I've never tried the Blizzak winter tires, but I'm kind of wondering who needs those? The only issue I've faced with these tires is fuel economy. My gas mileage took a 5-7mpg hit until these tires reached 7/32. Now it is back to normal. I'm getting around 55mpg in mixed city/highway driving.

I've sold these tires ever since they came out. Always had fantastic customer satisfaction. I finally put them on my vehicle because of my experiences selling them. They preform practically like a blizzak full snow tire. Yet they can be ran all year long and have a mileage warranty to boot!!! That is unheard of!!! It's the best of both worlds. You ge the majority of people's diving with every day mileage. Plus when the weather hits they preform just as good as a tires specially designed for those conditions. Also, wet performance is incredible! Night and day difference from previous Firehawks I had... Very satisfied customer. If your one the fence and drive in any sort of wet or freezing conditions these are your tires!

Bought the Weatherpeaks because my Nokian WR4s were getting old and loud. What a difference! Very quiet and sure footed in wet and dry conditions. Part of the reason I selected these were the good winter ratings, well, winter is still a long way off so I'll get back to you on that, our Western New York winters should be a good test. Additionally, we just returned from a road trip through West Virginia and South central Virginia, very narrow twisty roads, sometimes in heavy rain, Tires were awesome. Even though I bought these from my Mazda dealer, they were less expensive than the Michelins and other similar class tires. I'll get back to you about how the handled a Buffalo winter next year!

I had done the research on various brands for my vehicle. These were the winners after my research. Took a 500 mile trip days later and the ride and handling were wonderful. Road noise barely noticeable. Wet road handling great! All around great purchase!

These tires have great points and awful points. The good: traction on these tires are fantastic. Amazing stopping distance in wet and dry weather. Also, if you enjoy feeling the road, you will like these tires, you can feel the difference very clearly of different roads. The bad: you can feel everything with these tires, they are only a smooth/comfortable ride on fresh asphalt, anything other than that you can feel everything through the car and in some instances hear it. My tires also hit a resonance frequency at exactly 43 mph, and they hum exceptionally loud at that speed and vibrate the seats, building from 40 and gone by 45 on most road types. I have had the tires balanced 3 times and the alignment checked, everyone claims it is absolutely the tires causing it. If you want great traction and detailed feeling of all road types these tires are for you. If you want a smooth and quiet ride, my preference, stay very far away from these tires. My biggest annoyance with it is that the rating say comfort should be high,and it absolutely is not.

Replaced the Firestone FT140s that came from the factory at 42k miles. They gave a harsh ride with lousy snow traction and hydroplaning on wet roads. I love everything about these 215R50-17 Weatherpeak tires except my highway mileage has dropped from 43mpg to 37mpg. Haven't tried them in snow/ice yet, but they are incredible in heavy rain with standing water. Quiet, great feel, and they absorb bumps well. Fingers crossed that they last as well as the warranty indicates.

Love these tires. Got them put on yesterday and can already tell they are far better than I had before. Had Bridgestone on a previous vehicle so I knew they would be a great selection.I am NOT Disappointed. Thanks Arnold, Missouri Firestone!!
