I learned how good Firestone tires are when I bought a used Honda Ridgeline. After driving several Ridgelines this one had the smoothest, quietest ride of them all. I was surprised to see that all four of the tires on it were Firestones. So for my Ford Ranger, of course I bought four Firestone Destination tires. I am not surprised that the truck rides smoother and quieter than it did with its previous tires. I usually want to put Michelins on my vehicles. But now I have a new favorite tire brand. And with a 70,000 mile warrantee, I am convinced that these Firestone Tires are the best tires you can buy. I think Firestone Tires are the most underrated tire brand on the market. My father was true car guy. He was an aircraft mechanic in the Navy during World War Two. He taught me a lot about cars. Way back in the nineteen sixties and seventies he always relied on Firestones tires for his cars. And now, long after he passed, I am still learning from him. Thanks Dad, and Thank you, Firestone.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. Purchased these tires on April 8, 2022, I am not satisfied with the performance and ride comfort Of these tires. I brought a set in 2011 of LE2 and was completely happy with that set. These ride badly not completely sure if it is the tires in itself or not balance properly.

I purchased these tires as my OEM tires on this vehicle needed to be replaced after only 22,000 miles - disappointing. At the same time these new tires from Firestone changed the ride dramatically - much smoother and quieter so to this point I'm very satisfied. Hoping they wear well and provide good winter traction.

These tires are great for on highway use dry and wet conditions. Snow conditions not well, difficulty steering in corners and requires 4 wheel drive often. Off highway (gravel road) performance not well - easily punctured. Have had to repair tires 3 times in 15k miles use. Originally we purchased these when we lived in the city, however moved to rural home later. These tires are better suited for in town driving where they excel, very quiet and comfortable ride. But if you enjoy the occasional drive on gravel or mud, these will be ok. If you live on gravel or use off road heavily, these are not for you. We would have purchased tires better fit for our area, like the Destination MT or XT series, which we have on a truck. No issues with the MTs.

I have driven these tires for 30k miles and I am already really close to needing to replace the tires. I just had to replace one that had a slice in the side wall. I have had to patch the tires multiple times. The worst tires I have ever had. No durability and the wear on them is terrible. As the title says, DO NOT BUY!!!

Good tire. Have a set with 50,000 on them, and looks like I should get another 25k-30k from them, except for one issue. One tire started to peel along the outer sidewall. The tire dealer was unable to resolve the issue with Firestone and so never did anything about it. At 50k, the tire failed to hold air and was not being treated with any warranty guidelines. The dealer stated that I would have to purchase a new set of tires, even though they still looked and worked good with 50K on them. The dealer believes I could get another 30K out of them, if all 4 were intact. I have just started seeking resolution with Firestone and hope they can resolve this situation. I don't want to spend $1200 to replace them until I have full life from them.

I bought these tires from Firestone and only had them a little over a year after the first 6 months I did a wheel alignment .. then my second alignment about 7 months after and found both front tires inner side bald and threading out . I went to firstone to complain and they basically said that it's not a tire issues .. of course they would say that ... I showed them my wheel alignment report but since I didn't have my first report they there is nothing they can do .... I will never buy or do business with Firestone again ... stay clear of Firestone

Good tire for the money. Just purchased and no complaints so far. Ride is quiet but only had dry weather driving so far. Can't say what it will be like in rain and snow this year yet. Had a bit of a sticker shock when I purchased them from a privately owned shop, but service was fast and good, so not gonna complain about that.

My first set of Destination tires had about 50k miles before I replaced them. They still had tread but were over 7 years old. My 02 explorer is a seasonal drive only so age of tire was starting to show. I just purchased my 2nd set of Destinations and couldn't be more pleased. Excessive road noise on my old Destinations grew louder with age. The new tires are so quite, my 20 year old explorer rides like new. The handling is precise and the vehicle tracks straight where I steer it. I could have purchased any tire but I'm glad I went with the new Destination.
