I've been a Michelin tire fan, but have buyers remorse on this set. I was pointed to these tires as being excellent, they do great in the rain but otherwise I haven't felt that they provide superior performance and they must have a great deal of rolling resistance because I'm experiencing a reduction of 3 mpg with my Q5. Very disappointing.

Bought 3 months ago. Since then we have had snowfalls of up to 30 cm (12”) of snow and icy, compact snow roads as well as dry pavement. So fat these are about the best tires I have had on a regular vehicle. No spinning when starting out, quiet on dry pavement with good handling. One excellent thing I have noticed on ice and compact snow is little to no sideways sliding. Have not experienced heavy rainfall yet, but with traction in snow and on ice I do not expect any problems. These would be the perfect tire for the Lower Mainland of BC which gets heavy rain and occasional wet snow.

I have owned them for two years but this is the first opportunity I have had to drive in slushy snow and sloppy conditions and they did well. I tried them in deeper snow and they do very well. The absolute best rain tires I have every used. They handle well and brake well. I am shocked I am saying all this because I usually do not prefer Michelin. these are the best tires I have ever owned and hope to use them on every vehicle going forward.

I bought these after watching "Engineering Explained" on YouTube. I wanted a high quality snow tire that wouldn't be noisy on the interstate. I drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec-v. It's a true manual transmission with no traction control and entirely too much power and only front wheel drive. I do delivery driving and have to often drive offroad and on gravel. They perform excellent on inclines and have amazing grab on gravel roads. I have been in situations where any other time I would have been stuck and these just chew right through the snow and pull. After 10k miles they're showing minimal wear, I'm very happy and impressed!

I can't count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer, without all the downsides.

Bought the CrossClimate2 in 2023 and used them less than a month because although they had good road handling, they were very noisy, rough and did not provide a smooth ride. I replaced them with the Pilot Sport 4S and am satisfied, but nothing ever came close to the Premier A/S I purchased in 2019. The Premier A/S were the best ever in ALL aspects 10/10! Unfortunately Michelin does not make the Premier A/S anymore for cars.

Bought first set for a 2010 Forester. So impressed I bought a second set for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great ride, and grip especially on the Grand Cherokee. Replaced OEM tires on the Jeep. These are just so much better. No more loud crashing over potholes and highway cruising is so quiet. Replaced some Kumho's on the Subaru and these are also super quiet. Certainly worth the money. Don't put on cheap tires. You'll regret it like buying cheap shoes.

I live on Vancouver Island were we only saw about 4 dumps of wet snow this year but heavy rains monthly. I was very impressed with the handling in both. The car has never hydro planed and the traction is superb in the snow. One morning I drove down a very steep hill that had not been sanded and covered in ice and snow to a friends place on the ocean. I then had to return up his steep driveway covered in a foot of snow, stop and await his gate to open. I then was able to start up without the tires loosing traction. I then drove up this same icy snow covered hill with no slippage. The tires are very quite and the only negative I have found is that my fuel economy is down slightly from my previous tires, a small price to pay considering my peace of mind I get from this purchase. I strongly recommend these tires.

I am so glad I got the tires when I did. My car is still new and I thought my regular tires would be good enough for the winter here in Upstate New York, but the first hint of frost and I was sliding already. So I got my new CrossClimate tires about a month ago and I went through the foot high snow of our latest snowstorm without any problems.

If you are a smooth driver, not pushing your car hard and drive carefully in winter conditions this is the best tire for you. Great performance on wet, slushy, snowy roads. Great summer performance in Toronto weather. Very comfy with little road noise. Used on both of our cars Subaru Legacy and Chevrolet Trax without any issue.
