Great cycling computer. Has great features to measure all kinds of data; speed, incentives, decent. With sensors you can see rpm’s, heart rate, and power with a power meter. The gps is another great feature. The computer has music controls and phone notifications. All in all this is a great piece of equipment for enthusiasts and casual riders.

I have used Garmin Bike GPS for years. My 800 unit battery has a poor charge life so I got this as a replacement. I looked at the high end computers like the 1040 and 1050 but they were overkill for my casual rides. The explorer 2 gives me a simple and cost effective solution to my mapping needs.

I recently got into biking. I came across this device as a recommended one to have. It's great that you don't need to check your phone often. It fits well and connects with the phone easily. One thing that can be improved is the software experience, but I guess we are all spoiled with phones.

Garmin makes a great product and aside from at Walmart it’s hard to find a lower price

Love the unit and the battery life.

3 stars because it only has 3 different bike modes.

User interface is not intuitive. Map is cluttered and hard to read.

I charged the device without turning it on. Much later, I tried turning it on to set it up, and it would not turn on, with or without being connected to the charger... Now the item is out of stock, so I am out of luck.
