I usually don’t give 5 stars because there’s always a flaw with something. But this build is awesome. Very relaxing and fun. I was in love from the beginning. It turned out just beautiful as I expected. The bridge and water just make the whole set. The ONLY thing I was not to big on was the trees aren’t connected to the base. I do like that they are easy to take out but I just thought it was odd. Not enough to bother me to give a 4 star review. Definitely worth the time and money.

I am only just at the base of the build and beginning to add the water. I am VERY disappointed that the pieces are not more opaque and blue showing. It doesn’t look like water at all and the undertiles show right through. Very disappointing. I will hopefully like the finished product, but had I known the water didn’t look anything like water, I’m not sure I would have purchased this set. I do love the tea house and tea set, though. That tea whisk is adorable. I hope I can come back when it’s finished and have an improved feeling about the entire set, but for now I am disappointed.

I bought this for myself because I have always been a fan of zen gardens and the peace they bring. Unfortunately for me, I am also a terrible gardener, but this allowed me to have a small, tranquil space in my home. I took my time building, enjoying each aspect as it came together, and the ability to rearrange items depending on my mood is fantastic. I truly enjoyed both the build and the finished product, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tiny piece of solace.

Bought this for my 11 yo daughter! She loved it. Was able to do it in 2 days no adult help. Kept her busy and focus and off her electronics :) Tranquillity garden is an absolute must build! The details in the garden were awesome. Definitely would Recommend!

This is an incredibly beautiful model I picked up right away. The building experience was varied and engaging, and my favorite part was the pavilion and placing it on the base at an dynamic angle. I like that it complements the Bonsai Tree set and how it makes a vibrant, calming display place.

Originally bought it for family, ended up building it myself. I liked the building process - my first lego build myself ever. Did not like how the trees are unstable. I think it would have been better if the trees were more secure. It would make the moving around process with less anxiety.

I’m new to LEGO building, only recently trying it for the first time, to help a young grandchild build a set. I had a great time and when I discovered there were sets with themes targeted to adults, I decided to try this one because it was just so attractive. I loved the koi fish, and thought the moveable trees were a great idea - in effect you can make it look different every day, and I do move them around. The tea ceremony is beautiful, and I like being able to lift the roof off the building and peek inside. While of course I have no basis yet for comparison with building other sets, I found the instructions pretty straightforward, and the set strikes me as being very well thought out and designed. Loved it!

This is the most advanced piece I've built so far (recently built the Botanical Garden). It's still a work in process, but I love the way it's turning out and can't wait to display it. Even though it's Japanese it reminds me of a garden I visited in China. Since I only build sets that have meaning to me, this one was a great choice.

Like many adult Lego fans, I am a long time Lego builder, and owns over 10,000 Lego sets. I bought Lego sets since late 1990’s. I have collected many technic and system sets over the years. I got my kids into building Lego sets and refused to buy other “Lego compatible” sets because of Lego brick’s quality. However, I have noticed recent Lego quality is going down the drain! The dark brown windows bricks in this set breaks easily! 10 of the window pieces broke in half and several others cracked at the bottom. I know we can order replacement parts, but more than 10pc of parts broke in half? Come on Lego, you can do better quality control. This set is not even your licensed product… there is enough profit margin. Please get your act together and fix your quality issues.

I saw this set in a local store at a reduced price and decided to buy it. I collect Harry Potter, Disney, Modulars, the winter village and various Lego Ideas and other sets. This particular set was not on my want list but for the price (89)I couldn’t resist it. It was one of the most relaxing, beautiful and artistic Lego sets I have ever built. The pictures do not do it justice - my husband stole it from me to put in his office so he could admire it all day lol! If you are reading the reviews and debating whether to buy this set just go ahead and click Add to Bag! This is definitely up there as one of my favorite sets!
