I feel that the bounty ones do absorb as lot more. Don't get me wrong the Scott ones got the job done but I needed to use more than I normally would.

The double rolls last a long time, They don’t leave behind lint and they hold up even when they get wet something a lot of other paper towels fail at.

One thing I liked is they have the choose a sheet size. I checked out prices and they are pretty expensive for the what you get.
