I used this in my 2005 Victory Vegas motorcycle. It is getting very difficult to find synthetic blend motor oil, and with a larger range in viscosity. Victory (Polaris) recommends 20w40 synthetic blend motor oil. The Victory branded oil offered for sale is verrrrry expensive. Mobil Delvac 15W-40 is pretty close, and fills the bill, at a reasonable cost. Thanks Mobil

I like this oil for my wet clutch motorcycles - one air and one water cooled, my air cooler gas motorhome generator, as will as an air cooler twin cylinder riding mower. It has held up very well. The motorcycles and generator get low miles and low hours and I have no problem leaving the oil in for a year and a half knowing that the oil will still have a good TBN value still be neutralizing any acid build up.

I have been using Delvac 15-40 in my 2004 Dodge CRD since day one. Currently at 150K miles. The oil is dumped every 5K miles and always use Cummins filters. A recent oil analysis by Blackstone revealed excellent results with a quote "this Cummins CRD appears to be in excellent condition". That is a good enough reason for me to continue using this oil.

I had used a “blue” container of oil for my first service on my 2023 48hp tractor. The engine seemed noisier than the factory oil. After 20 hours, I switched to Mobil Delvac 15w40. I instantly could tell it ran smoother and a lot quieter. I like it so well, I bought 4 more gallons to have on hand for my next service.
