I HAVE BEEN A MICHELIN CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY SETS OF DEFENDER LTX TIRES . ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE RIDE AND COMFORT OF THE TIRES. THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF DEFENDER LTX M/S 2'S. TIRES CAN'T BE BALANCED AND LOPE WHEN DRIVING. DEALER HAS SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. IF I CAN'T GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM MICHELIN I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AFTER ONLY 5000 MILES OF USE AND SWITCH TO COOPER. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE NEW 2 SERIES TIRES. HELP MICHELIN AS I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR DECADES.

I now have approx. 40,000 miles on a set of these. They are in all respects very good tires. The wear seems to be as expected, they are great on wet highways and relatively quiet although as all Michelins do, they seem to be getting noisier as they wear. What I don't like is they are as hard as rocks and with every pothole or manhole it feels like the front of the truck is getting torn off. I had the Primacy's prior to these and for us, they were a much better tire. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling and would prefer the softer ride. I think I'll be going back to the Primacy in the future.

Tires are very quiet and smooth running. Any increase or decrease in mileage is yet to be determined. I bought these for extra load rating for towing a 5th wheel trailer. I am at this time experiencing death wobble and I am hoping the tires are not a contributing factor as I only have 19,000 miles on the truck.

I have been a fan of these tires for many years. I have had 4 different vehicles over the last 20 years and put Michelin tires on each one. These tires I have had on my last 2 pickup trucks. They handle great. They last longer. They go and most of all stop. On wet rainy roads. Best Tires ever

I've run through two sets of the original Defender LTX M/S, and they were nice and smooth. No problems. Now that they're discontinued, went with the M/S2. Two had to be replaced for high road force. They do NOT ride as smooth as the originals. Bounce and shudder. Very disappointed.

My truck was sold new with Bridgestone tires. I couldn't wait to get them off and get my Michelin Defenders put on. The ride is noticeably better. I'm a lifetime Michelin tire owner on all of my trucks. When I was 21 years old, I had a sidewall blowout with another brand of tires and was seriously injured. Ever since I've been using Michelin or Goodyear tires only. I prefer Michelins for my trucks, but Goodyear is equivalent in my estimation for passenger cars. The noise is less with Michelins and seem to last longer. Handling and traction are good.

I purchased four Defender LTX as research showed they are one of the quietest tires available for a light truck. They truly are. I do a fair amount of highway trips and these tires are amazingly quiet. If you are looking for a good looking quiet tire, you won’t go wrong with the Defender LTX.
