What happened to $2 toothbrushes? Now they cost over $100 (plus about $40 per year for brush heads)! Well, my dentist says I need it and now that I have (nearly) all crowns (fake teeth) in my mouth, I guess he's right. :-( Anyway, this thing has a chip in the brush head so I sure hope nobody hacks my toothbrush! They might turn it into a chain saw (ouch). Well this thing vibrates so much it feels like a chain saw, but I guess it's getting rid of all that plaque and calculus stuff. One thing I can say is that my gums are improving, so I guess that's a good thing. :-)

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I've been using this toothbrush for approx. a week now and so far I really like it. I got a white one, not sure if it comes in other colors but honestly that doesn't matter to me. This product has three features:Clean,white (which is supposed to make your teeth whiter) and gums. So far I can't tell the difference with the three settings, they all seem the same to me. I do like that the brush will beep and stop for a brief moment if you are pressing too hard. I have not noticed my teeth being whiter but maybe that takes longer than a week. One issue I do have is that you can't switch between the three settings while brushing, you have to stop and then restart with the next setting you want. All in all I really do like this toothbrush and would recommend to others.

So I submitted a review earlier this week which reflected on my Philips customer service experience. I received a followup email which stated my review would not be posted. Here’s a quote from the company email: “Unfortunately your review hasn’t been published because it doesn’t meet our Philips content guidelines. 1. directs business away 2. contains inappropriate content Would you like to have another go? You can resubmit your review.” I did not post inappropriate content. I documented honestly the issues I had with my experience over multiple attempts over two days to make a purchase. That was it. No company is perfect. I identified an issue in a review. Btw, I and members of my household own other Philips products. Caveat emptor.

Divide the purchase price by two and that is the cost per year you will pay because the product is not built to last. When it starts vibrating loudly it is gone. If it is under warranty Philips may send you a replacement but it will also last less than two years. It's a great toothbrush while it lasts.

I also think another thing this product does well is provide high autonomy without being over complex. The settings are more than enough while also not being way too complex or confusing.

I like the toothbrush for the price. They are more expensive but this is just fine for the price and does well. My teeth feel actually clean - I don't like to use a regular toothbrush anymore unless I'm traveling. they have travel accessories for your tooth brush but I just pack a regular tooth brush for weekend getaways

My dental hygienist has encouraged me for years to use an electric toothbrush. I purchased one about 5 years ago and used it infrequently. From the first time trying this product, I have been excited to use it, sometimes two or three times a day. Initially, the brush looked so small and I was skeptical. After using it once, I found the brush to be the perfect size-allowing me to effortlessly reach every tooth. When I was brushing manually, I thought I was brushing for two minutes-I was probably brushing for 30 seconds. When I use this Sonicare brush,I want to keep brushing, sometimes 4 minutes or more. After each use, my teeth feel like they were just professionally cleaned. I have some front teeth that are slightly crooked and I have to pay extra attention to them when I am brushing manually. This brush reaches to the areas where stuff collects without me even thinking about it. I like the whitening and gum features. The base on my other electric toothbrush often looked grungy, this base is easy to clean and looks sleek and modern on my sink vanity. I find the sound, at first, a little loud and annoying, but it is comparable to the other electric brush I own and this would not deter me from purchasing and using this product. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the eco-friendly packaging. The waste was cardboard, all recyclable, no plastic, YAY! I plan to buy this product as gifts for family and friends. I can't wait for my next dental appointment---the hygienist won't have to work so hard! Great Product!

I am now on my second replacement for this product. The metal bar that connects to the toothbrush heads keeps coming loose leading to a loud and terrible experience. I used to have a Diamond Clean that randomly died after 5 years so I bought this when I was in a pinch. It has been 2 terrible years

Now my teeth stain easily, I was getting my teeth cleaned at the Dentist 4 times a year. This is the only toothbrushes that remove my stains. It's truly the best.

My dentist recommended I use a sonicare toothbrush years ago. I purchased a different electric toothbrush without sonic technology at a much lesser price, thinking it would be just as effective in improving my overall dental health. I received a free sample of this Philips toothbrush in exchange for this review. The product came already charged and I enjoyed getting to use it right away. I quickly discovered that this toothbrush removes more plaque and whitens my teeth better than any other toothbrush I've used before. It did take some time getting used to the intense sonicare vibrations, as well as the fact that it is louder than my previous electric toothbrush. However, I am well accustomed to it now. My favorite feature is the gum care setting as I have very sensitive gums that are prone to bleeding when brushing. Thanks in part to the pressure sensor, the bristles are extremely gentle on my teeth and dental work, causing no gum irritation at all. I also love that I can actually see the microbubbles working between my teeth and around my orthodontics, helping me get the deep clean I desire. I appreciate the Brushsync replacement reminder as well, because I no longer have to guess when my brush head needs replacement. Overall, I think this Philips sonicare toothbrush is a wonderful product, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their oral care routine.
