I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Good: Wow! This toothbrush leaves my teeth so clean! Even several hours after brushing, my teeth still feel as clean and smooth as right after a professional dental cleaning and polishing. My gums feel healthier, too. I think the ultrasonic waves clean between my teeth better than other electric toothbrushes I`ve used. I like that the brush handle is lighter weight and less bulky than older electric toothbrushes and that it comes with a travel case. I could actually see myself bringing it on a trip. The travel case has room to hold 2 brush heads. For use at home, 1 charge lasts 2 full weeks, so it takes up minimal counter space. The toothbrush is very easy to assemble, comes pre-charged, and has a very compact charging base. The Bad: I was surprised to read in the manual that a different brush head is recommended for each of the toothbrushes 3 brushing modes (clean, white, and gum care). This made me feel like I could only use the white brushing mode, which is a 2.5 minute brushing cycle. One of the large buttons on the toothbrush switches between brushing modes, but I always kept it on white mode as the brush came with a W brush head (despite the manual recommending a newer W2 brush head). The other settings were less intuitive to use and require referring to the manual each time a change is needed. To turn functions such as EasyStart, Brush Head Replacement Reminder, or Pressure Sensor on and off, you hold down the start button until it beeps a certain number of times, and then release the button. A triple tone of low-medium-high or high-medium-low means the feature has been activated or deactivated. You have to check the manual to see which feature is after 2 beeps, after 3 beeps, etc. and which set of 3 tones indicates activated vs. deactivated. There`s no visual indicator on the brush for which of these features are turned on. The Ugly: The toothbrush is very loud and the vibrations are so strong that toothpaste flew out of my mouth and only my bathroom mirror when I opened my mouth slightly to reposition the brush to reach certain parts of my mouth. It was loud enough that I couldn`t hear someone talking right next to me. The toothbrush also has 4 very bright white lights on the toothbrush that turn on as soon as you pick up the toothbrush and stay on throughout use. I may cover these with tape as I find that uncomfortably bright, especially right before bed. Other thoughts: It would be nice if the toothbrush came with something for storing more brush heads on the bathroom counter. It would be ideal to purchase 3 different brush heads to be able to use the 3 brushing modes, and some households might want more than 1 person to share the same toothbrush base but with their own brush heads. Another electric toothbrush I`ve used came with a countertop case that holds 4 brush heads and has an easy way to color code different people`s brush heads. Something like that would be an improvement for this product. The travel case is bulky for just storing 2 brush heads--it`s designed for when you need to store the tooth brush base and the charger, too. The bottom line for me is that I`ll probably continue to use this toothbrush once a day, but use a different one that`s quieter, less messy, and doesn`t have bright lights at other times. The quality and outcome are great, but it would benefit from some changes to make it more user-friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please note: I received the product free in exchange for my review. Set-up was extremely easy. The toothbrush came fully charged and ready to use. I could simply press the power button and brush. It did take further reading to learn how to select the desired mode and strength of brushing. There was a quick start guide and another booklet that was more in depth. The quick start guide was not quick to locate, as it was tucked inside other papers. Accessories include a charging base, travel case, brush cap. The charging base plugs into a standard outlet. It is compact to take up minimal counter space. The handle can be put on the base in any direction. Since the connection between the handle and the base was loose I felt it was unstable and tips over easily. My favorite feature was the pressure sensor. If you are applying too much pressure when brushing the brush will make a "buzzing" sound. Features I would like are a wall mount for the charging base and multiple brush head storage for family use. Did like the sonic technology. May sound odd, but I have had other sonic toothbrushes that have made my nose vibrate when using them. Overall, I was pleased with the product. Philips makes a solid, dependable product. If you are looking for an individual sonic toothbrush I would highly recommend it.

The Philips Sonicare toothbrush is great! I will start by mentioning that I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. It is a lightweight, long, lean tooth cleaning machine. It has 3 settings which each serve a different purpose (clean, white, gums.) My teeth feel clean and smooth after each use. I have not yet noticed any difference in my teeth or gums, but I am confident and hope there may be improvement after a few more weeks. This model comes with a handy, dandy carrying case, which is quite useful as it arrived the day before a trip. I usually end up packing my toothbrush wrapped in tissue or paper towel, so the case was helpful. And it has room to carry two toothbrush heads, if you’re traveling with a companion who you would be comfortable sharing the base device with. I will say it tickles my gums as I used it, but not in a bad way, just different than I’ve felt with similar brands. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high end rechargeable toothbrush.

This is a great tooth brush and cleans wonderfully but let me tell you about the battery life on this thing! When I first opened it, I put it on the charger for about 24 hours before using. Now I only have to charge it once a year!!! Pretty incredible!

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I've been using this toothbrush for approx. a week now and so far I really like it. I got a white one, not sure if it comes in other colors but honestly that doesn't matter to me. This product has three features:Clean,white (which is supposed to make your teeth whiter) and gums. So far I can't tell the difference with the three settings, they all seem the same to me. I do like that the brush will beep and stop for a brief moment if you are pressing too hard. I have not noticed my teeth being whiter but maybe that takes longer than a week. One issue I do have is that you can't switch between the three settings while brushing, you have to stop and then restart with the next setting you want. All in all I really do like this toothbrush and would recommend to others.

I’ve been using manual toothbrushes my entire life and I thought I was doing a good job. After a long mental health episode that left me not caring about my teeth I knew I had to go to the dentist, at my initial consult I asked the assistant what the best electric toothbrush is, she said philips sonicare diamondclean. Now the diamondclean line is very expensive and has some features I don’t care for (I don’t need an app). So I bought this instead. The way this brush feels is wild, you will never be able to go back to manual. This leaves my mouth feeling like I just got a cleaning. When I went back for my cleaning my hygienist was very happy that I bought a philips and told me that oral-bs don’t work very well (can’t verify but I imagine its because of user error). My cleaning was very quick, no longer then 20 minutes, with very little tartar. Now I have 6 months till my next cleaning in December but I hope I will get even better results. I did change the head to the A3 because soft bristles are better for your enamel and gums.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Overall, I like the toothbrush - it's sleek, works well, was easy to set up and use and holds a charge for a long time. The one thing I did not like was the fact that the brush moves sideways instead of in circles. I've always manually brushed in circles or used a brush that does circles so I prefer that method. However, my teeth felt very clean using this toothbrush and it's just a style preference, not any sort of defect with the product. There is a whitening feature with the toothbrush and I will have to say I didn't use that at all so can't speak to how it does. I will in the future though - interesting option. Overall, it was great and I would recommend it to someone looking for a toothbrush like this.

FEATURES: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Two things I liked immediately about this toothbrush were a higher vibration frequency and smaller brush head design than my previous electronic toothbrush (a competitor`s). I find it easier to position the brush where I want it. RESULTS: I have a small chip on a tooth where I normally get some coffee staining and right away I saw that this new toothbrush has definitely caused the staining to decrease! TECHNOLOGY: I noticed a mark at the base of where the head plugs onto the toothbrush handle and was surprised to find that the toothbrush can detect which brush head is attached. This will allow the toothbrush to monitor use and let us know when it is time to replace it. Since my partner brushes more frequently than I, this feature will make it easy to know when it is time for a new brush head. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and plan to continue using it.

I received a free Protective Clean 6100 Sonicare toothbrush to review it. My first impression was that it was smaller than I expected, which was nice. I am used to using a battery operated toothbrush, which has a fatter body. Sonicare has a sleek body. I like how it has timed settings. I realized that I have NOT been brushing my teeth for the recommended 2 or more minutes. It`s very easy to use, just press the button once the toothbrush is in your mouth and go! If you turn it on before - the toothpaste might fly off. The toothbrush is very quiet, quieter than the battery operated. The brush head is really small, which I didn`t like at first, but now I am used to it and it feels like it works better than the larger heads. I do have to say that after the full 2 minutes of using it my teeth and mouth feel cleaner than when I brushed with my old brush. The charging station is small and you just put the base onto it, no risk of falling over. It also came with a travel case, which will be helpful. The only drawback I can think of is that it is messier. The vibrations cause little droplets to fly out of your mouth if you don`t keep it closed. Overall I was surprised that I like it so much. I think it does a better job than what I was using before, so I will definitely keep using it.

This was my first time using a Sonicare Toothbrush and it felt amazing. You can definitely feel the deep clean from the bristles. Now you have 3 different setting for the type of care you are seeking. If you have sensitive teeth the vibration may not be suitable for you. Love the base for charging and its very easy to use. I did receive this as a free sample but would highly recommend it
