[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using this brush. I have used electric a toothbrush for the last 15 yrs. My prior toothbrush still worked but the replacement heads are no longer available. My prior brush was from Sonicare. I like that this one is lightweight and has a sleek design as well as it comes in several colors. It holds a charge for (2) weeks and has a pressure sensor that gently pulses to alert you when brushing too hard. It has its own charger and carrying case. Can be charged with brush in case. You also have a choice of using (3) different modes: clean, gum and whitening. Also has different intensities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Protective Clean replaced my older Sonicare which died after a useful life. I am very happy with how clean it gets my teeth, and would highly recommend it. There are so many varieties of Sonicare, and after some research, I determined that this one met my needs. I especially like the understandable interface to add extra time, and my husband appreciates the easy option to decrease intensity -- this is making him use it more. One thing I am not happy about, and this is why I only give 4 stars: the LED lights are *incredibly* bright. I try to monitor how much light I am exposed to close to bedtime, and wow, these are like someone is shining a flashlight into my eyes; I have to make sure I am covering up the handle before I turn it on. Please, Philips, consider dampening them; there is no need for that level of brightness in a toothbrush handle. I am currently seeking out stickers to cover them up, or might try a Sharpie. Also, the first handle I bought malfunctioned within about 2 months. But the customer agent was very helpful and friendly, and after a few questions, very quickly sent me a replacement, which is working well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal Sonicare user for more than 20 years. I love Sonicare products. I recently had to purchase a new unit.. but in the week or 2 before the purchase, I had to use a manual toothbrush.. My teeth never felt clean enough using the manual. I am so glad I am back to my favorite brush. I don't think I will ever buy another brand.

I purchased my Sonicate per my dentist's recommendation. I now get up in the morning ready for my toothbrush, and I look forward to it again at night! I'm still learning. I've got places that are sore on my gums - too much pressure. But that's good! I learn from that! I still try to "brush" my teeth myself, instead of letting my toothbrush do it for me. (64 years of habit is difficult at times.) But the feeling of clean teeth is worth it.

Over the years, I've purchased many Philips toothbrushes, initially the most expensive ones, and recently decided to go with the more moderately priced models. All great but none seem to last more than two years. The only critique I have for the 6100 is that the charge usually lasts about two weeks, but occasionally just about one week.

My dentist recommended this model plus there are thousands of positive reviews. It's easy to operate, the battery lasts a long time between charges, is waterproof and can be washed off after each use. It does a noticeably good job. Better than brushing by manually. After my dentist visit the other day, they noticed much less tarter and I said I bought the Sonicare brush. It's doing a great job and I highly recommend it!

Love this toothbrush. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth. My teeth look and feel so clean. And they’re whiter after just one week! I use the normal mode most days, which lasts two minutes and notifies you when to change the quadrant you are brushing. The teeth whitener mode lasts three minutes and tickles my gums a little. I haven’t tried the gum health mode yet. I was excited to get two complete brushes with the charger and carrying case for each since I alternate living between two states. This gives me a brush for each home for just the price of one.

This is the second Sonicare toothbrush for me. Love the feeling of a clean mouth! No complaints about effectiveness. The handle has been redesigned and is smooth around the entire circumference making it somewhat difficult to hold and control. A different texture on the back of the handle would make it nearly perfect. The rfid chip to track use is interesting but makes for expensive replacement brush heads.

It is funny to receive a request for a review after it has stopped working. Regardless, this was a Christmas 2019 gift for my wife. She loved it and found it did a remarkable job. She found the highest intensity to much for her personally, but switched from mid to low frequently. She was very impressed with the 'back from the dentist' feel of clean. So as a result, I purchased a step down model, then we also got one for each of the kids. Long battery life on these devices. Quite impressive. The 'quad' beeps aid with keeping good coverage on each area. Takes some getting used to using it on front incisors, as it gets quite loud. Note that Philips has gone beyond kind and has been trying to replace the unit for us, I am just waiting for a replacement receipt, ink faded. Lastly, use ONLY the Philips replacement heads, a relative gave us some overseas knockoffs which do not work and fall apart in seconds. All in all a great product.

This toothbrush works very nicely. It replaces one by another manufacturer which stopped working and can't be replaced as they are discontinued. So this was an experiment with a different manufacturer's product. Happily, it produces the speed, intensity and brushing action that I was hoping for, so I am delighted with it.
