I like the battery life and ease of use. I know that we have to change the brush head in 3 months but the bristles go soft after 2-3 weeks of use.

Only positive experience. Perfect cleaning. I don't have any negatives. It has various modes from which you can choose the one that suits you now. Easy intuitive operation. Come on! It's just a toothbrush ) It's great and does its job well. My teeth are clean. Has a long battery life, I don't even remember it bothering me, a week or two without charging, then I put it on charge on occasion.

I’ve had to use a manual brush in the meantime—not cool. My first time back in the saddle was last night before bed. Perfection!!! I love using the 3-min ‘Gumcare’ setting for the cleanest feeling. It gives me time to pay special attention to gums and also to my tongue and the specific teeth that are prone to build up tartar more quickly. And the cleaner my mouth is before sleep, the less gross it feels by morning. A little personal history: I had held off on trying a Sonicare for years while using a less expensive electric toothbrush. When that first one died, I upgraded to a higher (more expensive) tier of that brand. After that one went kaput too (what is it with me and toothbrushes!?), I opened up to the idea of buying the Sonicare brand for two reasons: it was displayed at my amazing dentist’s office AND she did a ton of needed dental work for me that I wanted to care for properly. TBH though, I made that decision while still wondering if it would be worth the extra expense. From my first Sonicare use, I loved how clean and fresh my mouth felt! Serious glow up. No regrets. Do register though.

I have been using one for many years and it is satisfaction guaranteed for me. I get great reports from my dentist and dental hygienist every time. Used an Oral B dual clean for many years. I am having difficulty getting used to the smaller softer brush head. Just feel like my teeth and gums are not getting or staying clean between brushes. I'll keep trying. Real test will be at my next dental checkup/ cleaning.

This is the first electric toothbrush that I have used. My teeth feel so much cleaner now. I have rapid build up of plaque on my teeth and have been going to the dentist 3 times a year for cleaning. I wish I had started using one a long time ago. This may reduce the need to twice a year.

I like how it has great features like gum care which I normally use at night because it runs for 3 minutes. The "clean" feature runs for 2 minutes which is what I use every morning. I use the number 2 intensity instead of 3 because I feel like 3 is too intense for my gums. I haven't tried switching to a different brush head yet but I'm pretty satisfied with the W2 brush head.

I purchased my Sonicate per my dentist's recommendation. I now get up in the morning ready for my toothbrush, and I look forward to it again at night! I'm still learning. I've got places that are sore on my gums - too much pressure. But that's good! I learn from that! I still try to "brush" my teeth myself, instead of letting my toothbrush do it for me. (64 years of habit is difficult at times.) But the feeling of clean teeth is worth it.

I have bought Philips' products for years but am frankly disappointed in your toothbrushes. One would think, for the prices charged in Canada, that they would be durable. In fact they are not. The first Diamond model that we purchased lasted barely two years when the battery failed. It was only used by my wife and myself. The battery cannot be replaced, rendering it useless. Our current model will not hold a charge, sometimes cutting out in mid-brushing. Otherwise the performance is what we expected, brushing well and offering variable controls. But we will not be buying another until we are assured that these quality shortcomings have been resolved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Sonic 6100 to replace our 10 year old Philips Sonic because the battery was going, and the power was slowing down. This new toothbrush has the same great features as our old one, but with some new ones. There is an indicator beep and light that comes on when the head needs to be replaced. When the brush is placed on the power base, there is a beep. And while the battery is charging, a light blinks until it has completed recharging. This is a powerful toothbrush that always leaves our teeth feeling really clean. Love it!
