[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I started using the 6100 it was a little strange as I've never used an electric toothbrush before. But one of the standout features I really like is the built-in pressure sensor, which alerts you if you're brushing too hard, helping to protect your gums from damage. It also includes a smart timer and pacer, ensuring you brush for the recommended two minutes. I would have preferred a little longer on the timer. The toothbrush comes with a long-lasting battery that provides up to two weeks of use once charged. I actually have gotten over 6 weeks on a single charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Philips line of brushes since they were recommended to me by my dentist over 12 years ago. I am 62 years old with two small cavities and while I would like to credit genetics, I am sure my continuing use of the Sonicare toothbrushes has helped with my overall dental health and general well being.

This is my third Sonicare toothbrush purchased over the last 10 years. They have all performed well and lasted a reasonably long time. I find the replacement brushes much too expensive and have resorted to generic brush heads for the last several years. This new model follows this path as it uses heads with embedded chips to monitor the life of the head. They are exorbitantly too expensive for my budget so I doubt that I will ever buy them. I do like the choices I have for brushing and I also like the warning I get if I am brushing too hard. My dentist likes the results of my using this system also.

This is the 2nd Sonicare model to fail in the last 3 years. This newer generation model is built just well enough to outlast the warranty. Garbage. Because I have brush heads, I'll buy the cheapest model to use them up, then switch to a better quality maker.

I bought this that only lasted for a year. And way too expensive that didn't last longer.Now my toothbrush Is creating a lot of noise and i saw a lot of reviews they have the same problem. I won't recommend this product and don't waste your money for this kind of electric toothbrush!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using Sonicare for over 20 yrs and love its cleaning action and ease of usage, no wrist movement required!. I also really like timer function that beeps every 30 seconds to prompt quadrant change, and shuts off automatically after two minutes. The base lasts a long time, after 20+ years I'm only on my 3rd one. The metal stem of the base of my 2nd one was loose and not working properly. Since I was within the 1 yr warranty period Phillips replaced it with no problem. The price has gotten more reasonable for the brush replacements over the years.

So I submitted a review earlier this week which reflected on my Philips customer service experience. I received a followup email which stated my review would not be posted. Here's a quote from the company email: “Unfortunately your review hasn't been published because it doesn't meet our Philips content guidelines. 1. directs business away 2. contains inappropriate content Would you like to have another go? You can resubmit your review.” I did not post inappropriate content. I documented honestly the issues I had with my experience over multiple attempts over two days to make a purchase. That was it. No company is perfect. I identified an issue in a review. Btw, I and members of my household own other Philips products. Caveat emptor.

The Proclean appears to be very good but it's hard for me to know what mode it's in. It's hard to read the handle to determine optimal settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the phillips sonic tooth brush. This is my third. The last two died after a few years, but long after warranty. The only problem I have is that although this tooth brush is new and I'm using the brush head that came with it, the brush falls off as I'm using it. This just started a couple weeks ago and I've been meaning to contact the company about the warranty. I can still brush with it, but it falls off at least one time, every day. I've taken off the brush head and cleaned both ends, but I don't see anything that would keep it from having a strong placement. I haven't had this happen with your previous tooth brushes. Although my last one didn't seem to have a good seal with any new brush heads after I had used it tge base for a couple years. I thought that maybe I was buying the wrong brush heads, so tried several different types of sonic brush head, but all seemed to have a gap and were wobbly. That said, none if them ever fell off the base while in use. Can you help?

Flimsy and poor quality now. At least, this particular model definitely is.
