I received Philips Sonicare Protective Clean 6100 Sonic electric toothbrush two months ago as a gift and I love it. I have traveled with it several times now. I love the travel case and the battery life is great. I used it for a week without having to charge it. At first when I started using it, it seemed very intense even on the lowest setting, but now I have become a custom to the vibration. My teeth are smother and seem to be whiter. I have tried the whiting button and the gum button once each but stay with the general setting to brush my teeth. As I was told, don’t turn it on unless it is in your mouth, it can splatter. It is a little messier than a traditional tooth brush, but worth the time and effort to use the Philips Sonicare Protective Clean 6100 Sonic electric toothbrush. Thank you, Philips for making a great product in a fun color!

I have bought Philips' products for years but am frankly disappointed in your toothbrushes. One would think, for the prices charged in Canada, that they would be durable. In fact they are not. The first Diamond model that we purchased lasted barely two years when the battery failed. It was only used by my wife and myself. The battery cannot be replaced, rendering it useless. Our current model will not hold a charge, sometimes cutting out in mid-brushing. Otherwise the performance is what we expected, brushing well and offering variable controls. But we will not be buying another until we are assured that these quality shortcomings have been resolved.

When Philips came out with the Sonic toothbrush my oral hygienist suggested I use one. I did and haven't looked back. I am still using the Philips sonic toothbrush and wouldn't consider anything else and my oral hygienist agrees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this toothbrush to replace my previous one which finally stopped charging. Easy to use . Like that it vibrates to let me know when to move on to another section. does keep the charge for a long time. I like the blue color!

Multiple cleaning settings , each with 3 speeds, excellent, but high speeds take getting used too. Only con, change pause could be followed by a sound, chirp or chime, as some people may not be able to detect the change zone pause in the cycle. Cleans better than any other electric we have had, thank-you

This is my third or so sonicare. The brush is terrific and allows you to clean your teeth well without damaging your gums. My only complaint is that the brush/battery stops working around the 4 to 5 year mark and you are forced to buy a new brush. Even with 6 month extended warranty offering (if you register your product on line), the max warranty is 2.5 years. This time around, sonicare did offer me 2 free brush heads if I bought a new tooth brush. For me, you have to get a brush with 3 or so settings as I need gum care (a more gentle) setting. This new brush seems great

This is as effective as the recent Sonicare units I have owned, and might be even more useful for people who need to fine tune the units functions. If you use a manual brush, you really should check these out, they work well, and make your mouth healthier.

After flossing I take my time and brush my teeth on the cleaning setting and afterwords my teeth are like glass when I go over them with my tongue. The only negative aspect about this electric toothbrush is the material that the replaceable brush heads are made of. That hard plastic sometimes makes contact with my teeth as I am brushing and other feels like the brush head could damage my teeth. It would be great if Philips could make the tips of the replaceable brush heads out of a softer plastic or rubber.

I love my Sonicare. It makes my teeth super clean without much effort. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, as I have never used an electric toothbrush. But now I am very comfortable with it and have bought one for my husband and one for each of my kids. Even my 3 year old loves it.
