Bought this for next winter’s Florida trip. Spoiled it up and made a few casts, not impressed. Reel is very stiff, spin the handle as hard as you want

Can't beat a Penn rod and reel and to get a combo at this price is un-heard of. I own 3 of this combo and plan on purchasing 3 more.

Amazingly smooth, tough feeling reel. Rod seems high quality also. Will update if I have any issues, but I don't see that happening.
