Infinitely tastier than regular Tums, with a shellac coating and chewy center, this type of Tums more resembles a milky version of mentos candies. I feel the extra cost as opposed to regular tums may reserve this for users such as myself, occasional use.

The taste is just awful and I feel more sick to my stomach because of that when I try to use tums to relieve acid. Ive always wanted them to work for me, but they just dont. No idea why. Im sure someone else will really enjoy them, but this is not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were so good! I never liked Tums until I tasted these. Normal tums are chalky and taste awful. These are sweet and taste like candy. They are also, of course, very effective when it comes to an upset stomach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tums have always been a medicine cabinet staple in our house, but the chalky texture of the regular ones can be a bit odd putting, so this flavor was a nice change. They are a little bit more expensive then the regular ones, but if you have that texture aversion like my husband does- its worth it! They taste great, no chalky feel, and do the job they are intended to- reduce Tummy upset!

I gave them to her she was surprised by the flavor she said it reminded her of gum. It did help relieve her indigestion. So I would say it works.

I find these very helpful and effective. They taste delicious, but I wish I could buy just the red ones - they are all good, but I like the red ones best. Cons? Two things. 1. I also agree the lid sucks. 2. They are so yummy I want to eat more than I should!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like just about anything candy coated, so when I heard Tums was coming out with a candy coated chewy antacid I was excited to try it! First off... It works! I took these after several meals while on vacation in Mexico (where the interaction between their food and my body is always unpredictable) and it immediately calmed my heartburn. I didn't lay awake one night (or one minute on a pool lounger)... Tums chewables took care of it right away. As far as the flavor... these things take a minute to fully chew. They start out great, but as you chew they get that milky creamy antacid texture, and once you dissolve the initial candy coating there is virtually no taste. At that point they are no different than a plain non-flavored antacid tablet. This was my biggest complaint, as I was expecting a fruity taste until the end. The texture can be tough to get through too, as it is much thicker than the standard non-chewy version. Again, this product worked! However, if flavor and texture are a big deal to you I'd suggest trying before you buy. I will probably stick with the standard fruit flavored tablet version... at least that has the fruity flavor until I swallow it.
