My boyfriend uses Tums regularly, so I gave him the sample of this and he loved it. He said that it tasted great and it worked fast, and he can be picky about his antacid. It must be great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like just about anything candy coated, so when I heard Tums was coming out with a candy coated chewy antacid I was excited to try it! First off... It works! I took these after several meals while on vacation in Mexico (where the interaction between their food and my body is always unpredictable) and it immediately calmed my heartburn. I didn't lay awake one night (or one minute on a pool lounger)... Tums chewables took care of it right away. As far as the flavor... these things take a minute to fully chew. They start out great, but as you chew they get that milky creamy antacid texture, and once you dissolve the initial candy coating there is virtually no taste. At that point they are no different than a plain non-flavored antacid tablet. This was my biggest complaint, as I was expecting a fruity taste until the end. The texture can be tough to get through too, as it is much thicker than the standard non-chewy version. Again, this product worked! However, if flavor and texture are a big deal to you I'd suggest trying before you buy. I will probably stick with the standard fruit flavored tablet version... at least that has the fruity flavor until I swallow it.

Pleasant taste I often get heartburn and have found if I eat spicy food late at night I can take these to help so I can get a good night sleep . The calcium is a plus because I lake alot of calcium in my diet. This is about the only antacid I use these days and definitely does the trick.

TUMS Chewy Bites are a total game-changer when it comes to quick and convenient heartburn relief. I love that they work fast—usually within minutes—and they don’t have that chalky texture that regular antacids do. The chewy texture is smooth and the flavors are actually really good, almost like candy. As someone who deals with occasional heartburn after certain meals, it’s such a relief to have something that works this quickly and tastes good too. They’re easy to carry in my purse or keep in a drawer at work, so I’m never stuck suffering. On top of the fast relief, I also appreciate that TUMS provides a little calcium boost. Win-win! If you’re tired of gritty tablets and want something effective and enjoyable, TUMS Chewy Bites are definitely worth trying.

Honestly like candy the flavors are great and not chalky at all like the originals I love too. They work very well and can be easily stored in your purse for acid attacks on the go!
