I have had this tent for 9 years. It’s held up great. It’s awesome for car camping or boat in camping where there’s no portages needed. It’s heavy but the time it takes to set up is well worth the extra weight. I brought it to the boundary waters one year and it looked like a hotel compared to other peoples tents.

We tried ordering the tent shown twice and both times received the Black and Lime green tent that does not have a dome light but instread of Light fabric technology. The first time we thought it was just a fluke, then when we tried again a week later received the SAME INCORRECT TENT. (the black and lime green tent is ridiculously hot inside). Would really have loved to have received this tent with the dome light so i could review it. Now we leave in two days for a camping trip with no tent. Sam's really messed this one up.

Works as expected, the set up was super easy. I love the light option and while it uses 4 D cell batteries, I also have a small battery pack that fits into the space provided and worked beautifully. For whatever reason, taking it down and folding it back up to get into the carrying bag was a bit of a challenge but to be fair we were uncaffeinated and it was super early. We did get it to fit back into the case though. Overall I am very happy with the product. My only cautionary tale is to really think about the specs when buying the tent. We reviewed it and reviewed it and thought we were ok, but it is ultimately a smidge smaller than I would like as we do not do traditional camping. I would need to size up to an 8man or 9man tent, but I just bought this one and used it once so I will deal since this was user/consumer error. Still.. totally recommend.

I ordered this tent to use by myself. The on-line description said it could be set up by one person in 2 minutes. When it arrived I read the directions for setting it up and it said it required 2 people. I had one day to try setting it up before I needed it ! I was able to set it up myself, but it took a LOT longer than 2 minutes. I packed it up to take and when I set it up at my camp site it went up a bit faster. After I got home, I set it up again to air it out and that time was a bit faster yet. However, I have come to the conclusion that the 2 minutes does NOT include the time to attach the rain fly. While camping, there were several times of heavy rain and the tent kept me dry! However, the part of the rain fly that extends over the door of the tent does not extend out enough to keep the rain off of the lower part of the door. There were several times when I was getting into the tent, that rain water rain down off the rain fly into the tent. I wish there was something inside the tent that I could hang clothes from or attach a cord to to use as a little clothes line, but I made do. Those are my only complaints. Overall, it is a very good tent, seems to be well made and does set up without much trouble. The hub light is very helpful, too! I never did have to use it on its brightest setting, even to read by. I am happy with the tent and hope to get many more years of use out of it. (The price was good, too!)

Sams seems determined not to ship this item when people order it. As another person already complained, I too recieved a "6 person instant tent with 'light shield technology'" instead of the this tent with a "light hub". If I had to guess, they messed up the product #s in their database because between the website and the box/product I recieved things aren't lining up. Dont buy online if you want this product.

It was the easiest tent I’ve ever set up and seem very sturdy. The weather we had it in was not extreme, so it was perfect for our needs.

Also sent the incorrect tent. Unsure if manufacture or Sam's issue. Was sent the "light shield technology" variant.
