Fantastic TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this TV. Came loaded with awesome features that make it easy to watch movies, stream TV and game all with excellent quality. We host friends over at times and they all comment on how great the picture is even when viewed from the side. Set up was easy and being able to run it from my phone via the Samsung smartthings app is an added bonus!

Should have upgraded years ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using another brand loyally for many years, in large part due to the UI I thought was the best there was. When I went to buy a new TV, I read a lot of positive reviews on the Samsung DU8000 and boy was I in for a positive surprise! I should have upgraded much sooner. I love the auto “Game Mode” which works wonders with the new Samsung Home Theater system I later purchased when I found out what Q-Symphony was. The Samsung UI blew me away at how quick and responsive it was. I was used to waiting 1.5 seconds to input a letter at a time, but this UI is buttery smooth. It’s the first time I also had a TV that had eARC and HDMI 2.1 inputs. I was so used to old technology with the other famous brand that I was so happy to learn about all the new goodies. Good job Samsung!

LOVE THIS TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV to upgrade my 65" to something bigger. I was not disappointed. The picture is crystal clear the built in speakers were loud and clear they sounded great my wife and I watch this TV ever night. Samsung did not disappoint. All of my electronics are Samsung including appliances. Samsung the best brand I have ever owned.

Very Happy With Purchase!!

After having our 65" Samsung TV for about two months, we couldn't be happier! The picture is just GREAT! Crystal clear during daytime and night time. Sports look incredible. We have noticed that even older movies from the 80s & 90s look much better than on our previous TV. I hope that get a long time use from the Samsung. My two previous TVs were a high end Hisense and a mid-tier VIZIO. Both lasted a total of 4 years, including having the Hisense repaired once under warranty!!

Greatest brand in everything 🙌 lol

I bought this 3 weeks ago. I had a 55" QLED Samsung for years and loved it & everything about it. I bought another brand firetv and hate the operating system. I had an LG OLED and didn't like it's operating system and app availability. This TV is simple, and quick to setup, the apps, the extra memory, and the crisp picture. Everything about this TV is great.

Not so good

I am happy with the tv except I am not happy with the picture at all, the people look digitally compromised and the depthvv VV is not that clear. O was expecting a better quality tv. I V guess I am spoiled by the ones I used to have and should not have thrown them away! Thanks . Mara Simsic

I have a few recommendations that may improve your visual experience: Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Freezes

I will say I did receive it on time. And I was happy as a lady bug. I bought this for myself. A birthday gift for me.Just to let you know. We haven't watched it for no more than 5 hrs total since we rcvd it. That's 5 days. I decided to watch the fight. And it has been frozen for the last 20 minutes. First, the sound was going in and out, and the picture was getting blurry. Well, I'm still waiting for it to start back up. I mean, it's not doing anything. Unbelievable. It's very frustrating to search and search for what you really want. And this happens. Someone anyone tell me what In God's name am I to do. Log it back to the store. And I gave away my other tv. I am so frustrated and very unhappy 🙁 with what's happening right now.

If you experienced issues during a largely streamed event, it's possible it was due to the Network, and there is nothing wrong with your television. However, if you are still having issues with your TV freezing and seeing a blurry image, I have recommendations that may resolve these problems. First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, please try the following: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet.2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback.3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV.4. If you are using a set-top box, check the cable connection. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box.5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required.6. This is the best TV I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has not only survived a house with 7 kids under 14 but it meets everyone's needs. From lost remotes to Playstations, XBoxes, movies, Amazon Fire stick, or the smartest of TVs apps no matter what anyone wants it's all here on this TV. Just the TV alone without the game consoles and extras has everything a household full of kids could need! The picture quality is epic even with food and finger spots all over it. The TV is big enough for our great room and we can even watch from the kitchen while eating breakfast.... provided we can all agree on what to watch lol

Great TV for the price good clarity

Dual Audio output erratic

Picture great, remote tricky, dual audio outputs erratic. On the latter with my hearing issues we need iPods and TV Speaker. It took a long time for me to figure out how to set that up routinely without having to interrupt whatever we were watching to re set it. Even now last evening it just out of the blue shut down the iPods in the middle of a movie.
