Disappointed

These tires were good for the first 5000 miles but then on it's been down hill. I have done what they have asked by having the dealership rotate my tires They started to wear in the center of the tires Real choppy. Very noisy one tire is especially bad. Dealership says there is nothing they can do and Firestone said they can't help either. Not a good choice on my part. Don't buy these tires

Best tire

Against all of the bad reviews, this is a really great tire. I got 35/12.50/17s for my chevy 2500. First of all they're great daily driving tires. Maintain proper air pressure and they are pretty good on your gas mileage. My truck stayed between 12 to 13 mpgs during city driving. Considering their aggressive tread, these tires are actually pretty smooth for driving and they help absorb whole lot of shocks. Driving on a road with potholes or bumps - not even a issue for these tires. I still gotta test them in the snow, but hey i barely go in the snow. Honestly i needed a big 35" tire for my truck that has good traction to it. Great in water, dirt, mud and dang on road too. They're really quite. I don't hear any bwoahhh bwoahhh noise inside the cab even with the windows down. If you're planning to buy any aggressive looking mt tire, just go for them firestone mt2s.

Lots of miles

I've put about 50k on my set so far. Great off road traction snow, mud or rocks no issues. I probably could have gotten more miles out of them but I didn't rotate enough, can't blame the tire for that. The only down side I've noticed is the road noise is noticeable and gets worse as the tires wear.

Great Off road Tire

These tires came OEM on our 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys. The Jeep is not a daily driver, and is used mostly for off road fun. These tires have swallowed everything we have thrown at them! We have a friend that we go off roading with that has a Rubicon equipped with another brand's well known Baja Champ tire. Ours will pull through mud and climb over rocks with relative ease that his tires have a hard time gaining traction or gripping. Super satisfied with these tires!!!

Horrendous tires stay away from these

Tires came stock on my new Willys and looked great and have amazing off road traction. The praise stops cold there. These tires were inflated properly, chalk tested and rotated every 5K. Tires were chopped and uneven at 8K. Tires were so loud and vibrations were terrible I replaced them shortly thereafter to regain my driving sanity. Tires were the worst I ever encountered with many 4WD tires over the course of 38 years of driving. Stay clear of the MT2's!

Fantastic Tires

60,000 miles and 5 years still tread left but 5 years is a long time and the rubber is starting to get those little cracks at the edges so it's time to replace. These things bite the ground off road and in the mud, snow etc. hard. As long as they are touching they will grab. Lost about 1.5 mpg and got some hum, but great performance is worth it!
