Just purchased today after my original Goodyear tires lasted 68,000 miles I'm excited to see how these perform. So far very well. Very smooth and quiet with heavy rain on the ride home from the tire store, I thought that they performed really well compared to the Goodyear trail runners on wet roads. I'll will keep my review updated if anything changes.

I could not give the Michelin Defender LTX Platinum higher praise. I needed to go up a size to get to a higher weight capacity as I pull a 33 foot RV. I was concerned that going to a true LT size tire was going to ruin my ride and get noisy. Boy was I mistaken! I put them on my Ford F150 Platinum Hybrid and the ride has never been better. Even more impressive is how quiet these tires are. When my truck goes into electric driving mode it is dead silent in the cab, not a whisper of road noise. I'm impressed, Bravo Michelin!

I have had these ties since the end of 2023 on my Ford F-350. On dry roads, they are great. Anything other than that, they are dangerous. They slip on gravel, on rainy roads, snow and even dry maple leaves on dry asphalt. I am 66 years old and go pretty easy on the accelerator. There is a huge difference between these and the Michelins that came with the truck when it was new.

I've had these ties on my truck for 7000 miles. Had to replace one that was out of round. Truck still rides worse than ever my tire shop says Michelins doesn't honor warranty claims so I'm SOL. I cannot stress enough to avoid Michelins tires. This is the 3rd set of Michelins I've had in past few years and absolutely the last. First 2 sets lasted under 30,000 miles

To date: 3 months and about 8000 miles on the tires. I took these tires off road to Big Bend State Park. It was 100% 4WD going to and from two different camp sites and back. maybe 40 miles total. Running with four other vehicles, all four running other name brand A/T tires. I'm the only one running the Platinum

These tires are phenomenal. I recently returned from a 3500 mile road trip and the tires were the smoothest, quietest tires I have ever owned. I live in a heavy snow area so I was a bit skeptical of how they would react in the snow but I was pleasantly surprised. I have plowed my driveway with them several times since I returned with no issues. As far as snow goes at this point I would give them a 4/5 only because I haven't used them enough to really give them a good test. I took off my winter tires and replaced them with these for our road trip but I will likely still run snows since I'm out no matter the weather. I have a 3500 diesel pickup and with these tires I can actually hear the motor regardless of my speed. The only thing I can complain about the tires is that they are so smooth and quiet that I found my speed in the mid 90s if I wasn't using cruise control. Overall the best HD truck tire I have ever owned.

It's been nearly a month since I had them installed on our truck and so far so good. I also had the tires balanced and an aignment done. We asked the Chev dealership if there was a problem with the tires if we could bring the truck to any Chev dealership in the USA as we travel. They said they believe so, so that is why we bought at the dealership.

I've had these tires on for a week, since swapping my winter tires. The handling is outstanding., the smooth feeling on the steering wheel is outstanding, it's early days yet, but I have faith in Michelin and the Defender platinum tires I bought. Do yourself huge favor and get your Michelin tires ASAP.
