When you unzip it, on the left is another zip around small compartment as big as the shell. On the right there is the clothes section that has the snap closure so nothing turns over. This suitcase also comes with a matching backpack that fits my toddler excellent and It has a lot of room…. Best of all the suitcase has wheels. This set of luggage has already traveled a million miles and we haven't even left for vacation yet !!! Definitely recommend this product if you're in the market for children luggage.

It was big enough for all of his clothes and shoes but small enough to be considered a carry on. The backpack that came with it was great for his tablet, toys and drawing supplies to keep him occupied while traveling. I especially love that this suitcase has zippers that can be locked, a retractable handle and all 4 wheels turn making it super smooth and easy to pull along. Highly recommend this suitcase!

It does have an adjustable handle, but they sides click in separately, so I'm afraid with a three year old she will not use it correctly, eventually wearing it out. All the pockets and storage in the two pieces make for the perfect all in one traveling pack. I'm confident she can bring everything she needs in these on our next trip. She won't let it go of it, so she gives it five stars. And don't be like me and try to remove the plastic protective film randomly. Take a pin as they suggest and run it around where things join together. I wish they would have made the protective film thicker, so it wouldn't be as hard to remove.
