[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had to compare this one with the waterboost hydrogel, I would say that this one is thicker and more hydrating. However, because of that I felt that it would not get absorbed completely. My skin felt a tad sticky and like there was a bit sitting on top of my skin. Also because of my sensitive skin I did get a bit of a reaction to it. On first application, I felt that my nose and cheek area started to tingle and get pink, which lasted for about 5-10 minutes. The next morning, I did not get that reaction but I noticed little bumps on my cheek area and a pink rash on my neck. Since it wasn’t too bad I continued to test for two weeks but the rash did not go away or get worse. It disappeared after stoping and going back to Cerave. For that reason, I would not be purchasing this product and would not recommend to someone that has sensitive skin.

It made my skin moisturized without feeling greasy and smells amazing. I use the moisturizing gel each morning and have added this to my nighttime routine.

This cream version is perfect!!! The texture is thicker but it still absorbs easily. Looks great under makeup and has improved the texture of my skin. I will definitely be buying this again.

I use it when my skin is extremely dry or at least drier than normal, like when I do hair removal and my skin feels scaly. It really makes it feel nourished and cared for. The feel of the cream was smooth and very easy to apply with no excessive rubbing in required. After a few days of testing I didn’t notice too much of a difference from the product I already use. That is not a bad thing in any way. It left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated. I would highly recommend the product to anyone looking to start a skin care routine or anyone already brutalizing creams and just looking for something different.
