Great package for emergencies. The container itself is gorilla strength and will be essential in an emergency.

I have some older 30-day supply buckets and these have even more calories per day! Really pleased with the bonus water bottle too.

Bought more than one. Sealed and appear to be as described. Obviously not opening at this moment.

Calories - little protein

I purchased these on 09/15/22 and received them on 9/21/22. While the receipt of the items was quick after looking at the expiration date on the containers I noticed that the item was manufactured in 06Sep22 and the best by date is 07Jul32. That's less the 10 years?????? The description of the item's indicate a shelf life of 25 years. I called Augason Farms and spoke with Tammy who indicated that expiration date reflects the earliest expiration date of a product in the container not all. She believes this is the Bananas. So the actual description of the product is misleading. I purchased items from Augason Farms back in 2013 and notice the expiration dates of these products. May return.

As advertised but expires in 10 years

It is a pretty decent price and not too bad tasting. I had to make one of the cheezy rice pouches, because it had a hole and spilled all over the other pouches. I found the water bottle in the bottom of the bucket. It took 20 minutes to cook and took 6 cups of water. It would be good in an emergency if you have a way to cook it. It looks like the pouch would serve about 4 with a decent portion. Unfortunately, you cannot make it in the pouch like some others, so there is a mess to clean up afterwards. I am not sure how I would clean the pan if there was no running water. I will probably go with another brand.

It’s hurricane alley season again! Power, telephone, internet, etc. on average 3-4 weeks without services is normal for North Central Florida rural. Having a little food on hand that doesn’t require refrigeration is a must. At the end of hurricane season in November we eat what we didn’t prepare already.

I thought i was buying survival food that's has a 25 year shelf life, bucket says use by 2032.
