The scent is mild, but decidedly masculine, but that's not to say anyone will necessarily notice the scent on you as it's very mild. It does the job of keeping your stink pits tamed, without overdoing it by trying to be your second cologne. Goes on clear, and did not leave any deodorant marks on my black undershirts. I've been using Swagger since it came out. Not sure when that was. I was pretty stocked up so I haven't purchased any in several months. Just recently ran out and had to buy some, and noticed there was a new label. Cool. I used it for the first time the next morning, and it's terrible. Inexplicably bad. It smells NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL SWAGGER. The two sticks I bought are going in the trash as soon as I find something else I like.
