When I ordered this C Series I was sceptical if I should I buy another LG OLED tv, as how could they improve such a nice tv. However I did go ahead and buy this LG OLED C4 series and when it did arrive I wasn’t really impressed with the look of the packaging as it didn’t give me much excitement to look at a plain box, it could have been more colourful and printed but I guess to save the environment it came without any colours. After setting up the TV, I realised that the sound quality has improved so much, by this I mean the depth of sound and at low volume it just sounded so loud. Also the picture quality is very impressive too, it just looks crystal clear and there are different presets available for different viewings. The brightness is very good and impressive along with the HDR setting which sets it alight from other tv’s that I’ve used. The viewing angles from the sides is just as impressive as looking from the front as the colours don’t fade. The good thing about this tv is that it has 4 hdmi ports which are all 144 hertz and are good for gamers along with the dashboard that can be used while playing so I could change the settings to suit the game I am playing. The remote for this tv is similar to the previous model I had and it looks too plastic and cheap but it does have good functions as the pointer is helpful when I want to select things and it also has a scrawler along with one touch buttons to some regular apps that I use to watch films. This tv also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and that makes a lot of difference when watching certain programs and playing games. However there are a few things that I’m not really impressed with that they could have changed from the previous model I had and that was the power cable which is set permanent and can’t be made long so it could be short from your socket and also the ports are all on one side of the tv as before they were split on the back and some on the left side to connect your devices. The rear design of the tv doesn’t feel premium as it has a cement type effect which is very rough and not smooth to touch at all. The remote could have been changed to make it feel more premium such as adding metal or titanium as it feels too plastic and cheap. Since using this tv there are too many updates and it just feels annoying to wait while the tv is updating but at least it feels like the updates will make the experience better so it’s worthwhile doing these frequently. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw the LG OLED C4 tv at my Aunt's house. The 65 inch screen was impressive. The display is very clear with sharp and vibrant colours. You can choose the different picture modes comprised of Vivid, Standard, APS(Auto Power Save), Cinema, Sports, Game and Filmmaker mode. I tried it in Game mode with a gaming console and the experience was great. Playing a game of football, the graphics were almost real and look stunning. The Dolby sound is acceptable considering the slim model. It can be connected with a smart mobile phone quite easily using AirPlay and Chromecast features. Useful for sharing videos and photos to display from the phone. It can also be used as a PC monitor. Though I didn't try this, the functionality is there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS The unboxing experience was positive, it comes in an easily removed box/packaging and can be done by one person, although it would be easier with two. Once out the box, my first impression was Wow! The top 2 thirds of the screen are impossibly thin, and even on the lower third, where all the electronics and connections are, it doesn't get that much thicker. Most of the connections are on the left-hand edge, with the power cable coming out on the right. PICTURE QUALITY This was amazing! Being OLED, the blacks are inky black, but what amazed me was how bright it gets. I had heard OLEDs don't get very bright, but I was blown away. While watching a 4k Blu-ray of Star Trek, the ships details were bright and clear, while the surrounding space was ultra dark. After a bit of fiddling, I got the skin tone to be as accurate as looking at someone face-to-face. I had to turn off most of the AI and Auto functions, as they made everything too vivid and over-saturated for my eyes, but once setup, I was so happy. Motion is dealt with very too, with no blurring that I could see, so sports look great. I have heard the screen is really good for PC and console gaming, but I haven't tried that. SOUND This was probably the weakest aspect of the TV. For an LCD/OLED, it was actually impressive at first, but there's not much bass, although the sound is nicely balanced. No amount of fiddling would let it sound anywhere near the quality of my fairly low-end Sony soundbar though, so I won't be using the in-built speakers. SMART FEATURES This was another aspect that really impressed me. The WebOS platform is quite mature now and the interface is quick and easy to use, with all the apps I need available. The remote, while fairly plasticky, is a joy to use, with the gyro 'mouse' making navigating to apps much quicker than just scrolling left and right. I have noticed no slow-down with the interface yet. In fact, I will probably be retiring my nVidia Shield and just using the TV from now on, which I was not expecting. All-in-all, this is by far the best TV I have ever used, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Unlike LG’s G-series, which lacks this solution, the C4 includes it. The back of the TV features a speckled, brown-grey texture, adding elegance to my setup. The bezels are incredibly thin, enhancing the immersive experience. I encountered a minor setup issue where the wizard wouldn’t load the terms and conditions, and skipping didn’t work. After five minutes, I restarted the TV and used the LG ThinQ app, which, combined with the Magic Remote, streamlined the setup. Adjusting picture settings makes the TV shine, with Filmmaker mode being the most accurate out of the box. Disabling some EU-mandated energy-saving settings further boosts brightness, with warnings about increased power consumption, common across all brands. The image quality is stunning, with the OLED panel delivering infinite contrast blacks and vibrant colors. Motion handling shows LG’s investment in image processing. Although image burn-in is a concern, improvements and features like pixel shifting help alleviate fears. My previous LG OLED suffered screen burn after six years, so I hope this model fares better. Smart home features are extensive, with all major subscription packages available within the webOS software. Navigation is fast, and the Magic Remote offers gyroscopic control and traditional buttons. Physical connectivity is ample, with four HDMI 2.1 ports. The C4 supports Dolby Vision and 120Hz 4K for gamers, working seamlessly with my PS5. Sound quality is as expected from a slim panel, with average bass, mids, and highs. Investing in a soundbar is recommended. The TV remote lives up to its ‘Magic’ name, offering the best on the market with voice control and pointer mode. A downside is the screen’s reflectivity, causing glare in bright rooms. The C4’s brightness is a significant upgrade, with the LG G-series as its main competitor. Another negative is the advertisements within the operating system, which are distracting and unnecessary in such an expensive device. Overall, the LG C4 is a fantastic TV likely to serve well for years, with LG continuing to raise the bar in TV development.

The picture quality is truly exquisite - best you have ever seen to date. I love movies at home, while both of us love sports and every day we continue to agree OLED83C4AUA is one of the best investments we could have purchased for each other. Colors are deeply rich; contrast is striking; image resolution is as finely detailed. Built-in TV sound is so good, you could consider not needing a sound bar!

I was going for the G4 but being using the c series for years decided to go for the C4 upgrading from the C2 first it was not clear which screws you need to assemble the stand and which you use to attach the stand to the tv picture quality is very good but still a bit to dim in streaming HDR content it's still annoying lg do not put the mla into the c series

Setting up the TV was easy, LG take you through step by step on the screen. The functions of the TV is super. It has smart TV options and Alexa search which is very handy. The TV's screen pixel and colour is stunning. The picture quality enhances your experience. Its picture is bright, crisp and clear. The sound is average, but this is forgiven with the picture performance. The TV itself it thin and sits nicely against the wall. Its appearance is very elegant. We have placed this near a window in our house and the anti reflection is good. It also doesn’t seem to matter where you watch from in the room as the picture remains the same at all angles. There are 4 HDMI ports which is always handy. Overall this is a splendid TV produced by a reputable manufacturer.

The ultra-thin matrix rests on an elegant, metal, and centrally placed base. An interesting stylistic element is the finish of the back of the TV - it resembles architectural concrete a bit. The LG OLED EVO C4 can also be hung on the wall, and it seems even slimmer without the base. The set includes a Magic remote control with a gyroscope, which allows you to control the TV using both a rich set of buttons (including for VOD services) and on the principle of a computer mouse, i.e. a virtual cursor controlled by the movement of the hand with the remote control. This is a very convenient solution that significantly speeds up the selection of functions or selection of films on streaming services. The microphone built into the remote control allows you to operate the TV using voice commands. Just press a button and speak to the remote control. I have to admit that it works very efficiently. LG OLED EVO C4 is fully compatible with all major HDR standards, i.e. Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. The TV is also equipped with intelligent adaptive modes - they adjust the brightness and color intensity to the conditions in the living room. The audio system that LG OLED evo C4 is equipped with offers excellent sound quality. I was very impressed with its dynamics and reproduction of low tones. The TV creates fantastic surround sound - AI Sound Pro (sound improvement technology in LG TVs) provides sound breakdown into a virtual system. 9.1.2. It allows you to achieve both a better spatial effect and better optimize the sound for a specific scene.

First though what you have is 77 inch TV that will fit your living room and if it will be comfy to watch. Guess what, it's perfect, for its purpose. Watching 77 inches from 2.3 meters is a great cinema experience. Colours are rich and well-saturated, and blacks are solid. The screen is very bright, no issues over day or night with viewing angles. New AI functions are times savers. The design of tv is very sleek and modern, you can't barely notice the bezels. I can recommend it as a whole family TV and a gaming monitor at the same time. This TV is performing really well.
