Great gift !

I bought this toy to share with my six and eight year old grandsons( their mom is a fan also). We enjoyed building together. I have used legos as a learning tool to “read” and follow instructions. They have been great in teaching how to recognize and correct mistakes. They teach patience and persistence. They help my grandsons feel sure of their abilities. They have learned to recognize when they have skipped a page and to investigate if they have extra pieces. Both boys like the figures in these sets. Playing and building have increased their ability to communicate specific ideas to others. They share better and have expanded their imagination in what builds are possible and what to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this set. We worked on it together for about 45 mins. Once we finished the pieces did stay together much better then I expected. She had a blast and is already asking for her next set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this lego set. They loved the two characters and most of all the boat. I love all the pieces that come with and how good it compliments just the regular sets. I love how you can build the little island and how you can build a ton more of stuff just with these pieces. My boys play to look for the treasure and pirates with the boat. Overall I and them are very happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Legos. It was easy. I didn't have to worry about my animals getting hurt by that also love the fact that you can do more than build one thing with this product and it keeps my kid busy. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all love Lego in our family! Kapp'n's island boat tour is really nice ! Very easy to assemble, 233 pieces, a lot of tiny ones I wouldn't recommend it for very young children. Nice and colorful, very enjoyable!
