The bar has a great size and shape so you can keep a good grip on it as you lather. The bar is micellar, which helps remove impurities from the skin. The fresh clean scent is very light and pleasant to smell throughout the day. Afterward I felt very clean and my skin was not dried out but moisturized. After a couple of uses my skin felt much softer than usual. I grateful to have found a modern soap that meets all my needs.

It does have a freshness about it. Some soaps kind of make you still feel like you have soap on you after you get out of the shower and you feel kind of sticky but this Safeguard soap doesn't it makes you feel and smell good and it washes away bacteria. I would recommend this to people of all ages.

It comes in a sturdy packaging that's easy to open without using scissors. My favorite thing about the soap is the shape. It fits easily into my hand, with no awkward edges. It's not overly slippery when rotating the bar to lather. It lathers well, and it's easy to rinse off without leaving a greasy or oily feeling or residue. It also doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling tight. My least favorite thing about the soap is the smell. Though not unpleasant or overpowering, I didn't love the scent. It reminds me of public restroom soap. Overall, I give it 4 stars. Its a great basic soap that gets the job done, and I feel clean and fresh after using. The smell doesn't linger, and it's not off putting, so I don't hesitate to recommend to others!

Each bar is packaged in its own easy-open cardboard box inside the plastic overwrap for this 6-count package. Right away, I noticed and appreciate the simple, clean scent that is not too heavily perfumed. It is a comforting fragrance that does not prove to be distracting. I also appreciate that the bar's edges are all rounded off for better comfort in my hands. Also, the bar has an arched shape so that air can flow beneath it and reduce "goop" in the soap dish. It is a little thing, but I like thoughtful design elements. I wash my hands *a lot* throughout the day. This Safeguard bar is creamy and silky like a fine milled soap, at a price that can fit in anyone's budget, so it is a nice little everyday self-care luxury. It cleans effectively without stripping my skin, and I couldn't ask for more. The wholesome, fresh scent is appropriate for anyone in the family regardless of age or gender. The label says that it is micellar. I have seen that term in advertisements for cleansing products designed to easily remove makeup. but sadly there is no information on the package to clarify any additional benefits that this soap may offer. I will say that I like how clean and fresh my skin feels when using this soap. I would recommend this soap to anyone with skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Safeguard Bar Soap Fresh Clean Scent cleans very, very well and does not leave a sticky, oily gross film like some do. It leaves you squeaky clean per se! I'm not sure what cleaning at a micellar level means for sure but I am certain it does just that. That Fresh Clean Scent is slightly strong but I believe they are looking out for the males in this world too. I know most people now go for shower gels and all that but sometimes grabbing bar soap when you're in a hurry is just the way to go. I think this Safeguard Fresh Clean Scent Bar Soap could just be my new go to. Give it a try everyone!

These bars of soap have the right size even for small hands, it has a very strong fresh scent, but no chemical smell. It lathers well and leave my hands squeaky clean, it simply works just like its supposed to.
