I am not only thankful but pleased. Packaged neat and simple but still appealing. The bar is a great size that lasts. It definitely has a fresh scent and does its job of getting you clean and fresh. I'd most definitely recommend to others. I have already let my better half try and he's content. Win win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product I tested was the Safeguard bar soap in fresh clean scent. It is a micellar deep cleansing bar soap which claims to wash away bacteria. The first thing I noticed upon opening the packaging was the smell of the soap. It is a very pleasant 'clean' smell that's not super strong or perfumy. I really liked the smell of it. The second thing I liked about this soap is the way it lathers. It got very sudsy without using too much of the product. I hate soap that doesn't lather well. This soap is perfect in that department. I was a little nervous because I did get that weird filmy type of feeling as I was rinsing the soap but it did go away as my skin dried and left my skin feeling very soft and not dry at all. (This is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars). Also, when I was dried and dressed I could still catch a little scent of the soap on my skin but it was soft and subtle not strong and over bearing. I would recommend this soap to anyone who loves a super sudsy shower soap that leaves you feeling soft, fresh and extremely clean. I am at ease knowing this Safeguard soap washes away the bacteria on my body caused by everyday activities such as sweating and I'm certain you will be too.

The lather is rich and creamy, it feels good on your skin, and it rinses off your skin cleanly with no residue. It also has a nice lingering scent after use. Your skin feels soft after you use it. I used it shaving also, and it was great with the razor, it helped provide a nice smooth shave. I'm happy using this soap as I feel cleaner, knowing it washes away bacteria is a great feeling, I feel more confident this day and age knowing there is less bacteria on me. We use it in the shower, but I've also left a bar in the soap dish next to the sink, as I think it cleans better than liquid soap. This is a great soap for everyone in the family.

This brand has been around for a long time and I never found it to be that good. Back in the day it would dry my skin out. They have come a long way! I was pleasantly surprised by the nice clean, fresh scent. It did not smell chemically but fresh and natural. Another surprise was the fair amount of lather produced by a bar soap! Most of all, and the best part is that this bar soap left my skin feeling soft and moisturized! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Particularly if your skin is a tad on the drier side.

What I liked about these bars was that they have a nice fresh clean scent. They lather and clean very well, washing away bacteria. They also come in a package of six bars and are long lasting. I loved the cute blue action figure that came with these bars. What I didn't like about these bars were some of the ingredients they are made with that are not natural. As I have been learning more about ingredients, I am a lot more careful with what I put in and on my body. I would not recommend this product to anyone because of the ingredients it is made with. These bars are best for anyone who wants a deep clean and does not mind using soaps with non-natural ingredients.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am providing feedback for Safeguard Fresh Clean Scent Bar Soap which comes in 6 individual bars that are packaged together. Upon opening, I could smell the fragrance immediately which was very pleasing. I noticed right away that this product has a Micellar Deep Cleansing feature , which I am familiar that Micellar technology will attract and lift out dirt and bacteria, so this initial observation was a pleasant surprise. The bar was small compared to the box size it came in when I opened it, but it was easy to hold and rather convenient. The bar made a good lather and the smell is really a super clean and just overall pleasant experience. Bar soaps have dried my skin out in the past, but this product did not. I felt clean, smelled terrific and had an overall sense of well-being after my shower. I had reservations about bar soap from bad past experiences, but this product hit all the important points that I feel are essential. I have used liquid form body wash for years but am now convinced that not all bar soaps are the same. I will be purchasing more of this product in the near future.

The first thing I noticed when looking at the package was a phrase written on the package: "Washes away bacteria." I thought that was a clever addition since everyone is concerned about germs lately. Later, I thought, "Doesn't all soap wash away bacteria?" Either way, it's a good marketing tool. I went to open the plastic packaging to get to a bar of soap. I could not get the package open with my hands because it is so tightly wrapped. Luckily, I keep scissors in the bathroom so I used those. The first thing I noticed, after opening the package, was the overwhelmingly strong scent. I love the scent of original Safeguard and while there is a hint of that original scent, it is too strong overall. I took the soap out of the box, and my first impression was that it seemed small. I'm used to using 4 ounce bars of soap. It is the same color and shape as all other Safeguard soaps I have used, which was oddly comforting. The soap, itself, performs well. It lathers nicely and feels creamy on my skin (not drying to skin). It washes away cleanly. I do not like soaps that feel like you can never rinse them off, and this soap rinsed off easily. I like scent in my personal care products, but this was too strong. It would not be good for people who cannot tolerate strong scents. Otherwise, I think this is a good soap for just about anyone.

With 2 active males in my house, we need a good soap that will get the job done. This soap did just that. The scent was nice and light, nothing to strong or overpowering. After using, my skin felt nice and soft and there was no filmy residue left on my skin, which is a bonus. Unsure if it washed away any bacteria, but I felt cleaner so I have to believe it works. I'm ready to try out a few other scents in this type of soap and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new soap that will work for anyone in your family.
