The Classic driving guy

These Particular tires are very durable and at the same time the quite ride is awesome. This tire is the type of Product you would want to have on any of your Vehicles particularly for the quality, durability, comfort, quite ride, and most definitely for the Performance you'll immediately notice with out a doubt. This is a well thought out yet overall tire that you'll come to agree that it's the only type of tire that you would recommend, to family and friends alike for any Vehicle that they own.

ALENZA AS ULTRA, early review

Only driven 300 miles on them but already can say handling is improved over the stock Michelins which only had 24000 miles on them. The are a little louder than the Michelins, but still vey good. Tried them on a little snow as I needed a better tire for weather conditions in Michigan as I deliver meals to elderly people and need to be safe, these seemed to did in well for an all season tire. So far happy.

Very Good Tires - Alenza AS Ultra

Tires Plus, Thank you for replacing the worn tires on my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan (GT) with these new Alenza AS Ultra tires. We did not expect these tires to make such a difference in our driving experience - but they have! My wife and I both agree that these tires are so much quieter than previous tires. Plus, they provide a significantly much smoother ride. We are actually looking forward to our next family road trip and expect that these tires will certainly make the trip more enjoyable. Thank you very much for all your help.

Alenza are my new favorite tires

These new tires provide for an amazing ride. Super quiet and very comfortable. I've been a Bridgestone customer for the last 21 years. You would always find Bridgestone Duelers on my vehicles. But that I transitioned to Alenza there is no looking back. These tires are perfect, especially when I drive on the highway. Super quiet and comfortable.

Frequent buyer of Bridgestone Tires

I replaced another competitor's brand of tire on my Tiguan and chose Bridgestone of all the available brands on the market for various reasons: 1- previous satisfaction with Bridgestone on multiple vehicles over the years 2- quiet ride 3- all season capabilities 4- price compared to other major brands 5- tread design I have had satisfactory results on previous vehicles (Cars, Pickup's and SUV's) when equipped with Bridgestone tires. The Alenza A/S tire continues the satisfaction I've received from previous Bridgestone tires. Signed Happy Repeat Customer

Alenza AS Ultra

Great service from the crew at Somersworth NH Firestone Company Store. From the time leaving the store a noticeable improvement in handling and tracking. Quiet on dry pavement and the next day we had torrential downpours , they handled great in the rain at highway speeds.

Sidewall blowout and tires wearing quickly

My RAM 1500 came with the older version of these tires that had a 40,000 mile warranty. At 30,000 they had strange wear patterns on three of the four tires even though they had been rotated multiple times, correct pressure maintained, and NO alignment issues. Got a 25% reduction is new set of four due to prorated mileage failure and really loved the new ones at first. Now with only 25,000 miles on them it is clear they won't make it to 50,000 let alone 70,000 or 80,000 or whatever they claim. Bigger problem is today pulling out of driveway the passenger front tire blew out. I did not hit anything, there was no road hazard, the sidewall simply failed going over the 1" curb from my driveway to the street. Thank God I was not driving down the highway with my three kids in the car. I am filing a report with NTSB to see if their are manufacturing problems reported with these tires as I do not feel safe keeping them on my truck. The dealer insists a tire cannot simply blow out and I must have hit something but the RAM Roadside tech said it was clearly a sidewall band problem and it was obvious I hit nothing, and there was nothing in the road or stuck in the tire.

500 miles; seems ok but louder than old tires

These tires replaced the OE Dueler H/L Alenza on my Tundra. So far, I have about 500 miles on them. The ride is better, and the new tires seem to have better grip in dry and rain than the old tires. However, they are louder, especially in the 35-50 mph range. Once up to 60 or so mph, they aren't singing quite as loudly. I specifically sought out tires that were not AT (all terrain) because I didn't want to hear a lot of tire noise. Maybe its due to the width (275/55R20)? Not sure. So if you want a really quiet tire, the Alenza AS Ultra is probably not it. I know Bridgestone makes an excellent tire, and I like that these tires are made in the USA, grip well, ride well, and hopefully function well for many miles as a good tire. But the noise is a put-off, and I just hope maybe it gets better after some more riding.

Noise

Purchased set of 4 tires, ALENZA ULTRA 225/65R17, last summer. They are the LOUDEST tires I have ever had the misfortune of buying. Will never buy again. Low rating is for noise, cannot carry on a normal conversation with front seat passenger and forget about conversing with back seat passengers without yelling.

This tire should not be sold for luxury SUV's /Terrible wear

Purchased the Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra for my wife's Mercedes GLS with the expectation of having a comfortable, quiet tire with long treadwear as Bridgestone advertises and I've experienced with Michelin tires. Within 17,000 in 1 year of use, the Alenza's are at 3/32 and closing in on the wear bars. I didn't feel safe having my wife and son continue to drive the vehicle with these tires after only 17,000 miles due to the potential to aqua-plane due to the worn tread. As such, I was forced to buy new tires. I wouldn't recommend this tire if you are thinking that Bridgestone's claimed 800 treadwear rating has any validity to it unless my 4 tires were defective. I'm sure I'm not the first consumer to bring this matter to Bridgestone's attention. These tires do not perform as advertised.
