Great Italian bread with fewer carbs!!

I love this bread. It helps me out with my eyes. Calorie, counting, and it's just so nice and very tasteful.

This is a great loaf of bread! Only 40 calories per slice; I even use 1 slice in place of a hotdog roll!

I have to admit I was a skeptic but this bird actually tastes just as good as regular bread with a lot of the calories cut! They have wheat Italian and regular white bread but I prefer this one. It's slices aren't really thin and small like some low calorie bread which I really can appreciate especially when you're trying to cut carbs and watch what you're putting into your body. The price is just as comparable to regular bread usually under $4 and every time that I've gotten them from Walmart delivered except for once it has been a fresh product.

I started out with this bread 5 years ago because there was very little choice in the low-carb option. It's not ideal. It crumbles and falls apart VERY EASY. I was hoping they would eventually fix it, but they haven't. The flavor is a bit off as well. I no longer use this brand.

The only issue I have with this bread these days is it seems like the recipe changed. It becomes pasty in my mouth and practically choke it down with out enough fluid. Something in it seems to make it too moist. The rye bread is so moist it flops over when you take a slice! This bread seems to have changed. I liked the older recipe.
