We have purchased this in the past when it was less expensive, but had been shredded cheese elsewhere with sales. However, those other places had changed their ingredients on cheese to include tapioca starch, we have one with severe allergies to it and so we looked to buy it again at Sam's, even if we had to pay more for it. We did an online order pickup, the ingredients showed it didn't contain the tapioca starch, just the potato starch, and so we bought it. I didn't even look at the ingredients on it until just getting ready to open it and divide it up to freeze and it shows tapioca starch in it. I was upset over it, because we made sure before buying online, but we know everything is changing there and honestly everywhere with ingredients so companies can add unnecessary ingredients, decrease package sizes and still charge more, but not to have the ingredient list updated is critical. There are so many with allergies and one needs to really be careful with it all. This is one item that needs to be updated, along with most of the breads now too, which has sesame flour in them now and that's not showing either. We actually came into the store last night to check on items and it's disappointing, it's not just happening at Sam's, but elsewhere too, but we shop at Sam's hoping to save money and get better products and that's just not happening any longer. (I took a picture of the what is showing online, but in my frustration of packaging up the bag to return, I forgot to take a picture showing the true ingredients, which now include tapioca starch). I have never done a review, but felt it necessary for those who have to be super careful with ingredients due to allergies too.
