It stays relatively dry and has great absorbency, pulling moisture away from your sensitive areas. Wet or dry - there weren’t any funky odors if you know what I mean. I’d say these bigger packs a great deal!

I claimed these for my brother who got into a car accident and now has bladder leakage. He said they are super comfortable and pretty absorbant, easy to change and dispose of. The original Guards were great! These "more flexible" Guards are ridiculous. It is a shame that a company looks closer at their financial bottom line than at product reliability and consumer satisfaction. The new Guards are much thinner and hold less; under the guise of being "more flexible." Like the saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! I am looking for a different brand, after five years, goodbye Guards. P.S. I experienced my first "accident" today with the new Guards. Since the new Guards hold less, I ended up with an embarrassing wet spot on my pants. This NEVER happened with the old Guards, and I am only 10 pads into this package.

I regard the current Guards design for men to be more appropriate for a woman. Men require a little more wider coverage from the middle to upper portion of the guard. The coverage is insufficient for active wear when male genitals tend to move back and forth. The design needs to be adjusted so as to accommodate movement or swing motions when sitting cross legged..

This Was More Than The Shields! I'm New To This Type Of Problem. I Feel More Confident With The Guards Because They Can Handle More Spray Than i think The Shields can. I Don't like How the Thin Shields Feel Against My Penis. They Feel Like SandPaper And Are Not as Wide And Big Enough For my comfort! I Am still Not comfortable With My Problem But I Am feeling better Knowing I Have A guard In Place When I Need It! It never felt wet to the surrounding skin and it definitely holds 25 times its weight in liquid. It also neutralized any bad odor that usually comes along with urine and that was a relief to not have to smell that smell or think anyone around you can smell it. I definitely recommend this product to anyone with bladder issues that wants something to protect their skin and from ruining clothes from bladder accidents. One guard lasted many hours depending on how much liquid was in it. Only 1-2 per day were needed. They come in a discreet package as well.

The new packaging and product doesn't measure up to the original guards product. In fact, the first thing I notice is less absorbency and more leakage than the original guards product. The result is I change more often. Please take a lesson from Coke and bring back the original!!!
