I have been using Guards for Men for the past 8 years following a prostectomy. I have been able to contain leakage with one pad a day. The new ones in the gray package are less absorbent and require using at least 2 per day. I am very disappointed in this design change.

My fiance has bladder issues and he used one the other day and he actually likes them too, said they was comfortable and fit great and has great odor control! Great for the money and has a lot with them.

The new design is NOT an improvement. I went to many stores to find the older style. The new design leak on the sides, not as absorbent , leakage along fold lines. I am very dissatisfied since I have to wear these 24/7. Looking for a different brand. :-(

I had a family member who had recently and diagnosed with prostate cancer in which they developed a urinary leak. They were able to fit these discreetly in their underwear to catch it throughout the day. The pads are extremely absorbent, and there is no smell from the urine which is a nice bonus. This gave my family member their confidence back to go out in public while they were going through their prostate cancer treatment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pad was enclosed inside a gray enclosed wrapping. The color was geared towards men.. It was very absorbent and very easy/comfortable to wear. It was a close fit and it was no smell. You couldn't even telling was on.

He says they are very comfortable and we can actually use them without the diaper during the day and with the diaper for overnight.
