I usually buy the Hefty Contractor Bags but was excited to try these as I could not pass up the value. Its not as thick as the Hefty- but I dont consider that a bad thing because it was still very thick and sturdy, and I felt it did just as well in performance. With the recent flooding in my area, these were excellent for disposing of heavy damp materials ruined by the flood.
