I do many things in my business but one thing I do regularly is mail out groups of hundreds of envelopes for different clients. I use mailing labels to speed up the process and also printing them is easier using a merge program. When you are running a production - one person, trying to make the most of your time, you do not want the label you are using to 1.) get stuck on the sheet, 2.) be difficult to grab, or 3.) smear. Avery has the advantage over the rest of the store-brand labels because they use the "Easy Peel' feature - boy does that make grabbing and positioning a label MUCH FASTER for me. I never have to stop and re-do an envelope because the labels are so easy to remove from the sheet. This DOES make a difference when you have many envelopes to do and I appreciate the non-smear quality of the Avery labels as well. They do not snag in my printer like some other brands do. I have used this product for about 10 years now and am completely happy with the product and buying the brand-name Avery as opposed to an in-store copy. I use these labels on my white greeting cards (I use clear labels for card that are colored) for the purpose of supplying a short bio and contact information. The labels work well for that purpose. The labels arrive in a timely manner and the template is easy to download.

We use these labels in our inkjet printer for all kinds of things. Address labeling of course, but also to make gift tags and ID labels. I use a FileMaker Pro database program to produce the labels, which makes it easy to make labels for addressing envelopes too. They print out nicely, peel off easily, but don't peel off what you stick it on as long as it's dry and clean. I keep a box around just for those times I need labels. Makes it so much easier. And, they don't peel off inside the printer!

These are a breeze to use. It seems we find a new use for them every week-from address labels to notebook tags, from sheet music labels, to preschool name tags, from ingredient labels to craft labels, from key tag labels to nursery cup labels, and I could go on. They are everywhere in this church and used for so many things. Not too big and not to small. Every time I order office supplies they are on the list. Seems like I am always saying, " I know...we can create something with address labels that you can use for that." Love 8160's.

I bought these labels to use as "return address" labels. However, I've since learned you can use them for a few other things too. Anyway, they ran through my printer with no problem. I like that the edges are rounded, and the Easy-Peel feature is a major bonus! I now have quite professional looking labels to use for my outgoing mail, and at a fraction of the cost it would have been to have them professionally made. Paired with the Avery software/templates, you cannot go wrong with these labels!

We have moved 11 times in the last 15 years, and these labels are perfect for address change notifications. I have stored a template in MS Publisher in which I drop a photo of the new house as well as the new address and phone number. Before Facebook, this was a necessity. I also use these for Christmas card mailings. In one city, our primary bank did not have any local branches, so I used these labels for 2 years to send my deposits by mail to my bank. I get the most compliments when I carry these with my contact information to conventions to stick onto those drawing slips for giveaways or for mailing list subscriptions. The Avery brand labels are of a thicker and brighter stock than any other brand I have ever used, and they almost never jam. I am a loyal Avery user!

I really like these labels but the conversion process the Wizard never worked right, I tried many times. Ended up crashing my MSWord. I ended up creating a format in Excel and doing it in there. I do love the labels and they work perfect for my barcoding.

We purchased these as return address labels for my daughter's graduation. We were able to download a customized template for graduation that was exactly her style (very important to a 17 year old!). It was quick and easy to print them on our home computer printer.

I stick about 300 of the 8160 labels for a once a month mailing. The way they peel and have the tab the exposes the edges makes it much easier than other similar products I have used in the past. The downloadable software is great. I use the labels with Filemaker Pro which has the template built in.

Among other things, I run a corporate recording studio, and find the 8460 labels invaluable for keeping my materials organized. From the labeling of folders to the identification of archive CDs, these labels provide a legible way to maintain a professional enterprise.
