The smart straw does not work very well at all.  This is the second time it has happened.  When you flip the straw up, it is supposed to stream through the straw, except it doesn't.   The spray comes out of the top and goes everywhere and not to where yo want it.  The spray option doesn't work much better.  Horrible design and a waste of money.  I am going back to the small can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This WD-40 Smart Straw is the best! I grew up using WD-40 with my dad and now I get to teach my own kids how to use it. The straw makes it very easy to apply to the area. I love how it stops squeaks so fast! I highly recommend this product!

The 12 oz. can ALWAYS runs out of gas after you use about 3-4 oz! What a waste of time (because you thought you had some you could use & now you have to go out and buy some more) and money (you buy the big can so you don't have to keep going to the store, but still have to anyway because it's out of gas and still 3/4 full).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They should have come out w this years ago, having a straw is a game changer. We used it on the tracks of our sliding glass door. Having a straw was awesome to direct the aerosols directly where they were needed and not having it spray elsewhere.

being a Life long user of WD40 , I would like to see one thing improve. When the new nozzles �started I have noticed alot of product is left in the can and can not be sprayed from the can. This is product we is wasted since the can will not spray the remaining WD40. never had this problem with the oid spray cans! �I also talked to other people who have noticed the same problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "smart straw" version is much nicer than the original. I've bought the original WD-40 in the past, and the straw always gets lost or damaged. This new version eliminates that problem because the straw is permanently attached. The alternative method (spray) is also pretty cool; I don't use it often but it has helped reduce dripping.

I've been buying WD-40 for decades. My current 8oz can has quit working. I've tried the tips on the site to no avail. It's money wasted. Also the video states don't shake the can, the can says to shake it well. Perhaps I shook off the straw inside???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used WD-40 for numerous years! It can be used to remove rust and helps protect it from coming back. I use it a lot to lubricate small motorized items in my antique booth and to remove corroded hardware. It also displaces moisture so you won't ruin something while you are trying to use this product. I love that it has a straw connected to the nozzle that allows you to either stream and spray. The straw delivers accuracy to whatever you are working on. It does not clog up either! Definitely would recommend!

The Smart Straw works two ways. You flip it up for stream and down for spray. The straw is attached so you won't lose it. That's a huge plus!! It definitely makes getting into tight places a piece of cake and a lot less mess. Great concept!
